  1. The shims on the outer bearing should be there to stop the bearing moving outwards (if this applies to that particular housing design). Sometimes these aren't fitted if it causes binding. The other shims inside the diff should be there as they stop the rubber oring from being damaged by the rotating pin etc.
  2. The alloy chassis has two raised studs to keep the battery in place? On a vantage I made those studs taller to stop the battery touching the centre shaft.
  3. Pretty sure it is regarding the cell count check. 'R' would be number of cells detected by the charger. 'S' for the number of cells you have chosen to charge. Kind of a safety check, if the balance lead was faulty/damaged then the charger would think it was a 3 cell lipo etc. The charger asks you to confirm what it thinks you are charging.
  4. Always charge using balance charge. Fast charge won't be good for the lipo cells. You might save a bit of time fast charging but at the cost of replacing batteries.
  5. I have the new Dumbo, not used it much yet until the summer but seems ok and has good features. Be aware though that the 10 channel receiver is actually 9 usable channels. The battery power is provided by plugging it into one of the channels hence 9 channels. You can power it using one of the aircraft plugs so depends how you are going to use it. I did have this out with Dumborc but they wouldn't accept that technically it isn't a ten channel receiver as advertised.
  6. Run it on 2s or be less aggressive with the acceleration.
  7. Skyrc also does the T200. Mains 240 and if you knock up a cable it'll also plug onto a 12v car battery.
  8. It's probably because of your new account and then heading straight to the buying/selling pages. Facebook has programs scanning for things like that because it looks suspicious etc.
  9. You need to put a price on the post or it will likely get removed.
  10. I think speed runners are better if you live in the US. Wider roads and a hell of a lot more empty places.
  11. Been there quite a few times for a walk. That is a hell of an incline you have to walk down. Once did it the other way in summer and up the winding narrow walled path and up the trolley run, won't be doing that again.
  12. A faulty spark plug won't spark when under compression. Had it a few times on motorbikes, cars etc. That's why most garage mechanics will first fit a set of spark plugs when fixing a non runner.
  13. Is there not a TV/radio/computer repair shop in the area? Wouldn't cost much for them to solder the plugs on.
  14. Never liked chrome plastic wheels on RCs. Main problem with Redcats and other makes is getting parts in the UK, ends up being a major headache.
  15. Our van gets dirtier going to Aldi lol 😁 Hose/jet wash underneath while it's still wet, thick mud is like concrete to get off once solid.
