  1. Spent the evening dropping a combo in the spare Berserker, Underrated chassis if you ask me, And drives great with the right tyres on. Also gave myself a little dilemma, I broke out the Nitro Thunder Tiger S3 just to see, Forgot just how quick they are, And the fun they can be. So what's the dilemma, Well, I have a new Go 21 5-port engine, With Hong-Nor exhaust and 2 new Sanwa servo's sitting here doing nothing, So tempted to pick up another Chassis, Even tho I've not used the S3 I've got for over a year. And I got a refund on the Micky Mouse Brushed speedo.
  2. So, Anyone watch Car Share tonight, Someone in the tape department is sitting at home having a right giggle tonight.

     And good on him.

  3. Just a side step really, Good trucks, Just not worth the time and effort swapping over just for bashing.
  4. This maybe a bit late, But I think that my be the ESC Thermal cutout.
  5. If I was the OP, I really wouldn't know how to take that.
  6. This is the Kraton This is the Durango Dex8T This is the Agama A215T As you can see, There's not a lot between them these days, A top level racer may be able to appreciate the difference between a £700 Kyosho MP9 Kit and a £200 Hyper VS Kit, But you won't, Not yet anyway.
  7. Your idea of not to bad and my idea of not to bad, Are worlds apart.
  8. I order stuff like servos every now and then just like a consumable, Order it, Then forget about it.
  9. 20 quid alright by me,Were you get them from for that price .
  10. If I'm racing for first place at the next IFMAR 1/8 buggy World Championships I'll take that on board, But throwing a Buggy or Truggy around the local wast ground and generally driving it like I nicked it, I can live with 0.3s to 60° for 12 quid.😉
  11. Another cheap 12 quid servo, I'm impressed with these so far, Not the smoothest, But quick enough for bashing, And holding up well turning big wheels on the Muggy, And the Alloy horn is worth a couple quid. Did just use PowerHD, But they appear to have gone the same way as Leopard motors, Start off cheap, Get good reviews, Pump up The price.
  12. One of them things, See what they or eBay say, That's 2 I've had go straight away, This one was supposed to be Lipo ready, Just go's to show there is no tolerance in these things.
  13. The cheap new Brushed ESC may have gone poof, But happy with the look of the wheels, Didn't stop to think I would need Hub extenders, But had a set knocking a about.
  14. I don't think you can, It just comes up as connection break if you don't connect the main charge leads, I know some will bulk at this, But if you have the Tamiya male end, You could just push the wires in the hole for now.
  15. Guess what, Magic smoke.😄 Gotta laugh.
  16. A cheap Brushed ESC , And a set of Big Joe's.
  17. 4 wheel steer, And a question for the Crawler boys.
  18. Your original charger only connected with balance leads because it would have been a slow charger, Low amperage over the the balance wires is OK up to a point, This way it could charge and balance over the one connection. When you connect both sets of cable, The two main ones take all the power the charger can give out, Then towards the end of the charge output drops and the balance leads take over the job of topping up and balancing. So yes, the iMax will just see it as a Li-ion.
  19. Well, I had a new set of wheels that come off me other Berserker that I would never use, So flogged them for 35 quid, And bought a new set of Big Joe's for 44 quid, That's what I call a no risk deal.
  20. As much as I dislike there business model, I understand they now have a big influence on the hobby, So other companies have a tendency to follow there trends, And Kit form is a trend that the hobby should have never gravitated away from. Putting together a Tamiya Hornet with my Dad over 5 nights is one of only 2 or 3 memories I can vividly remember, Still to this day I can see him looking through the manual, Seeing that little picture of the tube of grease dotted about, And saying 'If I have to use glue we'er not building it'. Hopefully more will follow in the not to distant future.
  21. Nothing great, Just fitted a spare set of BSR/Trackstar shocks on the CRT, Hobbyking dose have some good stuff as well as bad, But these shocks are just so good, Build quality and action is as good as anything I've used.
  22. Your be fine with XT60s, Your notice opinions change a fair bit around here, I had Deans, Which I always thought were crud, But everyone was using them, So ha-ho, Then got a load of packs with Deans on, Everyone was now using XT60s, I liked them, So cut off all the Deans and went to XT60s, Five minutes later, XT60s are out, It's XT90s now, Never ends.
  23. Makes me laugh when I see someone wanting 30 quid postage for a buggy, When I sent a 5ive T with eBay Paclink/UPS for 20 quid with £400 coverage.
