Has anyone else noticed the battery's in the transmitter last for ages? Got my carnage end of June an still usin the same battery's and been out pretty much every weekend since an still usin original Duracell, not even lithium jus standard battery's lol Also don't remove them like I'm meant to an still havnt died yet lol

Jus found this on eBay, looks decent, but not as good or clean as mine and mine was cheaper but if anyone lookin for one here it is

Lil update on the Montana, threadlocked the clutch bell onto the crank, measured the wheels and ordered some bugsta tires as they would be a decent fit for not alot of money, fitted the Dumbo Rx but can't get to gyro so takin it out an puttin on the carnage, Next Todo is fix the brakes and possibly fit smaller stoppers so it can actually apply the brake, Need to measure the shell an find something that will fit an look jus as good as I'm not destroying this rare Montana shell, and jus a general tidy up of everything ready for next week's bash lol

Been toyin with the idea of puttin ftx carnage tires onto my Montana rims, don't mind butchering the carnage wheels as the hexs have all rounded off. So my questions, how would I remove the factory glued carnage tires from the rims without damaging the tires? How would I remove the Montana tires without damaging the rims? Been looking at methods an don't fancy baking them as the misses would kick off plus the fumes an smell could affect our degu (small rodent) Boiling sounds good but don't want to warp the Montana wheels any help is greatly appreciated

👍 Cheers buddy, it's ordered and due sometime this week. The carnage on 3s can be tricky to use sometimes so jus wanted it to be a bit more stable when goin flat out, most my flips are from over correcting the steering so hopefully this will help. Will keep the page updated once it's fitted

Hi all, is anyone using the dumborc x6 and x6fg receiver on there carnage? Jus wondering if the gyro works, And what this radio gear is like on the carnage. If it's poor then IL try an get it to work on my nitro

Yup I know buddy, will be goin through it all on the weekend an threadlockin everything thats metal on metal, also gona upgrade the bearings in the clutch bell as they crappy ones jus need to invest in a decent Allen key set as rounded so many off on the carnage an carson. Did test fit some trenchers on it the other day an really impressed

Well jus had a good look over the carson, first time since takin it out on the weekend... Front hubs were loose, the clutch bell was also very loose an close to falling off, the engine had moved a few mm too🤦 Rebuilding it this weekend to see what I'm gona need to buy. Put my etronix radio gear in it aswel, as got a Dumbo x6fg coming next week to go in the carnage 🤠 also got some more 25% optifuel comin next week ready for another race with my brother in law's Savage X 3speed an dynamite engine, the little Carson makes up some wkd ground in the bends but straight line speed that thing is crazy fast. Will try an get some videos put up soon, and IL take some pics later of the progress.

Got the Montana running perfect an ran nearly 2.5 litres of 25% fuel through it, was a good day. Also spent some time with a savage genius who taught me how to tune the engine properly and let me have a go on his savage that will wheelie on command... Seriously tempted to sell everything an get one of them lol

Well today I had it running, ran 6 tanks of 25% fuel, 2 I recorded but the last 4 I couldn hold the phone an run it, IL post the vids in the next post. Had it racing a xmaxx an it's not quite as fast off the mark but it soon catches it lol and if I'm already goin the xmaxx can't catch it 🤠🤣 can't wait for Saturday to run it again lol

Either this or have u taken the Ackerman off recently or done the screws up in the front hubs too tight? I made this mistake, bought a new servo and then found out I did everything up too tight lol

Well the carb didn turn up today so been sortin out some of the other bits that needed doin lol put the Ariel through the body usin some left over fuel line, an also changed the grey fuel lines for some orange, also sorted the brakes out so now it's actually goin to stop lol. got purple fuel filter an cooler comin Saturday hopefully. Also got a starter set comin tomoz so can run it when I want without havin to badger my brother in law to charge his igniter lol With a bit of luck the new carb comes tomoz so I can finally run it in 🤞🤠 Saturday IL have to get some videos of his savage 21 with a dynamite engine racing against the Montana both goin to be runnin 25% fuel only difference is he's got 2 speed an IV jus got the 1 lol

Ah ok, I still won't be mixing fuels. Just hope we don't have to lose out on 25% fuel

Ah so there is a bit of truth with what he said then but shouldnt directly affect us in the UK just yet. I'm sure if it did someone would start making it in this country for the hobbyist and charging a premium. As for the mixing that makes sense now as different brands could use different oils makin the nitro truck an grenade if usin a mix of 2 brands, I for 1 won't be makin it at home IL jus buy a new engine an run on the knats **** 16% 🤣 I'm sure I used to run about 35% about 15 yrs ago but can't remember, could have been the 25% tho.. old age is creeping up on me these days 🤣😂🤣 cheers for the info tho guys, best forum for everything RC

Hi all just been told 25% nitro fuel is going to be discontinued by end of the yr, can anyone confirm this or is it just my brother in law's friend chattin bubbles? I personally think it's bubbles as he can't run it so tryin to make us go lower % so he can keep up 🤣😂🤣 have had a look online and can't find anything to back his story up so any info on this would be awesome as only want to run mine on 25%
