  1. Also think about receiver prices incase you get another RC if its just a basher setup your wanting The FlySky receivers are only £6 - £10 each depending if you get from China or Amazon
  2. For bashing I'm more than happy with this Flysky FS-GT3B https://amzn.eu/d/d6QnbhW
  3. Invest in good solder as well. I use Wella Lead based solder, doesn't need as much heat as the non lead based stuff that comes free with most amazon / ebay irons
  4. New pinion arrived, what a difference!! VS this (look at all the tool lines on that one!!) -
  5. I just got these for £12 from Amazon if your looking for something cheap to start off with
  6. Cheap tools from Amazon but so far so good not broken yet and feel nice. £12 Delivered as well
  7. Currently using one similar to this and no issues so far with it. Done the XT90 connectors on my 4S packs with no issues https://amzn.eu/d/8ha8NWK But the one I got was only £30 when it was on offer think it was blackfriday
  8. Thought that as well. They said they would sort it with RW if I wanted but it would take longer instead of just me dealing direct with RW... Maybe they don't have any In stock to replace it with?? Personally I was expecting them to either say we "will send a replacement out" or "Here's a refund just dispose of that faulty one"
  9. Was going to just fit it and bash but I suppose if the machining is out like it is it could damage the spur or even the motor at high rpm if its not been machined accurately.
  10. It was brand new in a sealed pack from Selections-Web on eBay. It was in a well padded envelope so not courier damage They said it would be faster for me to contact RW and they will send a replacement out. Just waiting on RW reply 👍
  11. Hopefully. It's for a basher but for £10 I thought it should be better quality than this 👍
  12. Thanks I thought it would be best to return it
  13. Got a new RW Racing pinion in the post today and went to fit it but noticed it has imperfections First there's Rough edges (not the end of the world but at £10 per pinion a quick filing off by the manufacturer to make it smooth and more presentable would be nice?) Second the teeth have a slight wavy / not straight look on some of them??? Would you say this pinion is OK? Thanks
  14. The internal cells are probably all made in the same Chinese factory
  15. Mesh felt Ok when I lock tighted it all down any closer and it didn't feel right. It does get abused on rocky quarry style surfaces and theres always a few stones / little rocks inside it after a bash which probably doesn't help. The ZD Racing shocks only lasted 1 outing on the rocks lol....
  16. Thanks luckily I back onto a farm with a empty field behind me so could step over my back fence and Try a faster run in there
  17. If I hold it up off the ground and accelerate would I hear a gear change then or does it need to be under load with the wheels on the ground?
  18. Does it look ok smoke wise and sound ok? Just need to sort the gear shift out, seems stuck in 1st
  19. Thanks will look at them 2 brands It will be for bashing with. My stock HPI one has worn away so thin that the teeth are starting to break off lol (but it has lasted a while)
  20. Any recommendations for what brand pinions to go with and what to avoid? Looking for a 16T M1 pinion for my HPI Truggy Flux Thanks
  21. What about CNHL Batteries? They usually have good offers on 👍
  22. Seems hard to find a UK seller and at $37 shipped I will pass for now 🙂 Went with a small £4 delivered pot of Slick Honey should do for what I need it for 🙂 thanks
  23. Been using this seller on eBay, arrives next day usually https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141455807147?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=UXpgn1gJSJe&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=eHUxVO3MTke&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
