I only go out about one a week now due to weather an cold as said above carange /ftx plastic dont like the cold . As I went thor loads of parts when i 1st started but as the weather turned i see the diffrance . So once gets a bit warmer I'll have all cars out lol

Hi every one . This is going to sound strange (maybe maybe not ) Ok here goes my young niece died on new years eve and due to the circumstances it's taken a while to get the body released to be cremated. Now my sister has my nieces ashes she asked me if I could help . My niece was nuts about AUDI TTs and I'm asking if any you guys have an old 1.10 scale Audi car you no longer use its just going to need the chasis body an wheels NOTHING else as it's to store the ashes in . Or if any you have these parts I maybe can have to make the car I will be spraying the body as its silver or black is the two favourite colours of her audi cars . So if anyone can help plz let me know . What ever help anyone can do will be fantastic and appreciated... It make my sisters year. As a family had a really back ending to 2021 Our oldest sister died in OCT then our brother start of DEC then my niece end of DEC . My sister now the oldest has had to deal with it all . So I'm asking if I can help her with your help . Thank you .

I found the FTX range dont like the cold parts brake far quicker as iv been using.my outlaw an carnage for months and only having usually breakage but last week I snapped the chassis on a low impact bump which in the warmer weather I think would not have snapped . .

You need the 21 T motor in the outlaw . It last a bit longer . The 15T is for the carnage. . They don't cost much even a slower brushed cheapo will work once you work out the cogs . I had many weeks of hassle getting my cheapo working lol

Just remember if you swap the battey connectors cut ONE AT A TIME .solder it then do the other side dont cut both same time boom .....

Turning it back on to its wheels and repairing it is the two things that you do with outlaw m8 . It's just how they are . I find repaing them as much fun as driving them the wait for the posty is the pi$$or part so I have a large set of spares for them now I didnt when I 1st started but once you drive them you know what brakes and buy extra .

I covered mine on my carange and added a fan to keep it cool . Never had any probs . I did cover it 1st time with small mesh so air could still get to it to cool but stop crap but it's the very small crap that damages it so I just covered it with 1mm black styrene sheet . An as I said added a fan .

Hi there wow that looks fantastic. Iv never done one these before (as I said on mine ) so seeing you do yours feel confident to have a crack at it . That's one of my RC pet hates long /cut grass it wraps around the shafts and it's a pain to unclog .

If you want to drench yours I recommend you dont use WD40 . My personal recommendation is GT85 . .

Hi all My wifes bought me a xmas prezzie it's a 1/6th scale tamiya Harley Davidson for me to do it up to look like a CHPs bike .as I have a 1/6th scale vintage action man so want the cop bike so she got me one Well the plastic is black and I want to spray it white . Iv never done one these before so does any one know what tamiya paints to use . As in sure its it the same ones as I used on the FTX zorro clear body shell . . Also any info one how to paint these. As iv looked on YT and cant find anyone spraying the plastic on a 1/6th scale motorcycle the plastic is hard not soft like the zorro body shell . Cheers

As it's been said on back posts change the bumper to zorro one way better than small rubbish one it comes with Have fun on run 4 as they are fun .

You will need loads of wee screws as I found that out when I 1st stated . . Lipo is best and brushless for outlaws as I made that mistake too .once I swapped it over and got a LOW KV rating it's the mutts nuts . And as above change the spur gear and pinions.

Hi I swapped my shocks on one outlaw and on the other put in 500 or 50 cant remember which one now binned the bottle so cant check .as it now holds better . As for the back I swapped the sway bars and put shocks one one which helped if you look back on some the post you see what I did . Iv been using.mine about once a week for ages now and had no problems or brakeages ooo crap iv jinked it now

Yea same here just make sure you give the examiner a yorkie bar best to have all flavours ready . An it be 100% pass Lol

When I started this I said the very same thing m8 I worried about how I was going to fix these part that was broken. Snapped but I just sat down (as said above good tools ) and take it apart and if your not sure take a photo and I'll tell you give it a few weeks you be stripping these down like been doing it for years ..

As long as you meshed it ok then it just be the metal to metal I dont think mine is any louder . .just check it and have fun

I put new wheels on mine which was of member on here . And that helped . The other bits the usual items oil .lower the battery . So on there on the outlaw thread . (Same car diffrent body ) The new one tho seams to turn at high speeds without tipping but no one has bought one and commented on here about it so not sure what differance is but looking at the photos theres different chassis. And drive set up .
