Hi, I'm after some advice please.
Bought a T-Maxx 3.3 a couple of years ago, from the very first tank the car crept forward with the throttle in neutral. I thought no big deal, throttle needs trimming or linkage on servo rod needs adjustment, planned to sort once run in, I'll get back to this.
Put 3 tanks through it as per the run in procedure, called it a day, followed post run engine procedure etc.
Next time out, put 2 tanks through it as per the run in procedure, no problems, filled tank for the 6th run, engine responding to the throttle but car not moving, now I say not moving, it was still creeping forward with the throttle at neutral as mentioned earlier.
Much head scratching accompanied with plenty of swearing later, called it a day, emptied tank and followed post right engine procedure.
Mothballed the car, it's sat in the spare room since, thinking this RC car lark isn't for me, only to come back to it last year with some lower end electric cars and loving it.
Nitro isn't my thing so I'm going to sell the T-Maxx to fund a higher end electric car, but would like to resolve the issue before I sell it.
Having trawled numerous threads, does this sound like a slipper clutch issue?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
