  1. pretty new to rc cars - spent most of the last 10 years in the air, helicopters, planes and drones but recently touched back on the ground ... I know in the past some people did tend to pop up at the Willen BMX track which has bylaws to not allow rc models (may gate crash it anyway old as I am) but looking for some good spots in and around MK (1:10, to 1:5 capable) so any guidance or info is highly appreciated and open to meet ups (car with large boot obviously available) as well ... already spotted the Nene Valley folks who I may pay a visit
  2. Installed this badboy into my Granite BLX - has roughly 4 times the power than the stock servo so this should do
  3. ANNIMOS 25kg RC Digital Servo Large Torque High Speed Full Metal Gear Waterproof 180 Degree Control Angle for the Granite BLX
  4. not yet - still exploring the area for good spots
  5. HiKOKI DB3DL2WC Screwdriver 3.6 V found a really cheap offer on ebay from a business seller that accepts returns so did take a punt as offers were accepted and I will review the Hikoki if genuine parts are sued or not - if all is well I got a real good deal at £69 shipped for it ...
  6. not me my PS and XBOX name is completely different ... I tend to split different areas of interest and my ebay name is really old as well ... joined in 1999 ... so certain things have a history ...
  7. cheers bud ! keep it same and be recognised!

I have an unused DX2E on the shelf but postage to Portugal is already £13 with RM ...
  10. the above selection is actually not a bad package I'd say but have a look on what upgrades people recommend for the truck itself just to factor that in for the future
  11. I may be slightly biased but I like the quality hence I bought it - I wish they would offer BND models as the transmitters they include are not my favourite - apart from that I am happy with my Kraton 8S/Granite BLX. On the Kraton I have replaced the bearings for sealed ones but that was it at the moment, I dont send it like others hence I probably havent seen as much issues with it as others who drive it to the max - however comparing to Traxxas it seems their spares are generally more expensive but I have never owned a Traxxas so I can really speak to that but I see more plastic parts from stock ...
  12. I got this one when I got my Kraton https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07RDJRL6X/ but I tend to think I should upgrade to the former Hitachi which is now Hikoki https://www.hikoki-powertools.co.uk/products/db3dl2-36v-screwdriver | on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HiKOKI-DB3DL2WC-Screwdriver-3-6-V/dp/B07J147DJY/ which seems quite popular with rc
  13. I have ordered stuff from HK before - seemed lost - at one point I got a notification from the post office - probably after I had it written it off for a week - import tax ... paid online, delivered a few days later ... if the parts are difficult to identify or price that will cause delays
  14. Just ported the Granite to the DX5 Pro and gave it a good spin in the car park - this model actually would benefit from some AVC ...
  15. Having upgraded to a DX5 Pro recently with the purchase of my Kraton 8S I am selling my DX4R Pro which to be fair didnt get much use at all as you can see - most protectors are still installed, manual almost untouched etc - comes boxed in near perfect condition - only had estimated 2hrs of runtime. £80 - but open to reasonable offers - can accept paypal, PAYM or BACS or cash on collection in Milton Keynes OR SWAP for Spektrum SRS4200 £80 - but open to reasonable offers - can accept paypal, PAYM or BACS or cash on collection in Milton Keynes OR SWAP for Spektrum SRS4200
  16. Thought I quickly introduce myself here - got into RC probably 10 years ago air (planks, helicopters, quads) and cars got a few along the way - but truth to be told most of them are shelf queens.Difficult to spend the time you want with rc when job and family get into its way.but I will surely introduce the little one to cars as I think its a good bonding option from early. He’ll get his first 1/28 for xmas while I get some time to skill up ...couldnt resist the hype and called the lhs the other day to enquire about the Kraton 8S well had to pick it up 45mins later ... so I consider myself lucky getting one of the first ones and what can I say its a blast but now the weather is in the way ...thanks for having me
