  1. Awesome stuff guys thank you both for your input.
  2. As per the thread title I have a few! So my question is probably best answered by someone that has more experience than myself! Apart from the varying different size venturi's for the air side of things are the lsn, mrn (where applicable) and hsn also different in size to match the amount of air flowing in, or is it a case of same size jets/needles adjusted accordingly to the amount of air flow? I get it that the engine will only take X amount of air/fuel mix per induction cycle. I think what I'm trying to get at is, am I wasting my time putting a bigger bore carb on to get more power?
  3. Hi all. Anyone know of any tidy locations for bashing nitro trucks, I got some nitro fuel that needs to be consumed and nowhere to consume it!
  4. Afternoon all! I've just recently acquired a Hi rider Corvette. I found it on evilbay about a month ago and I just had to have it. It was like having my 12th birthday all over again, nice 👌
  5. Hi there! What parts are you looking for?
  6. I suppose in all fairness it can't hurt to give them a stab as they're not going to break the bank that's for sure
  7. Firstly thank you for taking the time to do some leg work for me, much appreciated 🙏. Unfortunately the part dont match up although they are remarkably similar in appearance. I've attached a screenshot of an exploded diagram of the gear set with their respective part numbers.
  8. Hi Tony 👋. Yes I agree, them spur gears are in fairly harsh environment. Ideally I would love to have the spur gears reproduced in steel. It beggars belief that plastic is used in such drive trains, as there's no other plastic parts involved. Surely it can't be put down to being a "deliberate weak point".
  9. Hi Mack1 👋. It will yes, it has the same part number as what is fitted to the Giga Crusher. The thin serated disc I'm unsure of though. However I'd still need the other 2 spur gears to complete the set. Admittedly I do have a full gear set on it way from Italy 🇮🇹. But if that ever strips then I'm not sure if I'd ever be able to find another set hence the nature of my post/thread 👍
  10. Yes that's what I was thinking also. I don't think PETG would work very well to be honest.
  11. Afternoon all 👋. Would the Kyosho Giga Crusher D/F nitro monster truck count as a classic or retro?
  12. Hello there 👋, right the vehicle in question is a Kyosho Giga Crusher D/F nitro monster truck. Apologies for the delayed response. I've attached images of the culprits in question! The lower picture is of the spur gears in their natural habitat.
  13. No worries 👍 thank you for taking the time to reply 😊
  14. Hi and good point well put! Right the model/vehicle in question is a Kyosho Giga Crusher D/F nitro
  15. Morning all. So has anyone had any experience with, as the the thread title states, 3d printed spur gears? Reason I ask is that a recent investment I made I've found the spur gears to be stripped, (which was due to an accident that the seller hadn't disclosed on the ebay listing description) and I'm seriously struggling to find any replacement parts. Any feedback regarding any 3d spur gear printing experiments/experienced would be much appreciated 👍
  16. If i had one it would certainly look a lot nicer than the plastic Snap-on tray I have right now.
  17. Hi sorry for the slow reply. To be honest I've not actually had the chance to use my truck in anger yet to see if the gyro makes a difference 🤔. I'm not expecting anything on tarmac I think it will come into its own on the looser surfaces 🤞
  18. What parts are you needing sir?
  19. Also I've fitted a gyro to try and help keep it in a straight line lol Here's a link
  20. Since this video was recorded I've since put a pair of savage polished pipes and K4.6 nitro star big blocks. Unfortunately I've not been able to take it anywhere as the car park in the video above is full these days, the car park is right next to a beach.
  21. Hi. Here's a link to YouTube of the truck in motion. The video was caught on my dash cam. I advise to forward past the first half as not much is going on
  22. Wow! It has been 13 years since I last uploaded a video to YouTube, so please bear with me will I try and work it out. I may have to use a pc in order to upload, that won't be possible until tomorrow, apologies.
  23. I'll see what I can do now! 🤞
  24. Hi. Unfortunately the videos I have of the truck going, are too large to upload as they exceed the permissable requirement of 40 something mb's 😥. Plus I've no clue on how to shrink it to fit. Apologies.
  25. I do somewhere. If it loads up and works then I'll explain what's what.
