Finished it, or more specifically, finished wiring up the lights.
Its an Orlandoo Hunter 1/32 Defender kit.
Spamming the forum now as I’ve already posted this link in my build thread of the same name, so this is just attention seeking, but I’m quite pleased with how it’s turned out.

It nearly drove me nuts but I finally finished wiring up the lights! It looks really scruffy, I’d approach the job differently if I did it again.
Sorry for the Instagram link but I’m running out of space for pics on here.

Thanks. Now the paint has fully dried it’s a bit more muted.
Wiring the lights is proving to be a real test of patience but I’ve been so absorbed in the process I forgot to take any pics.
All the soldering is done but mounting the LEDs correctly is REALLY trying my patience.
I’ll be really glad when it’s done, if it all works it’ll be awesome.
It’s called Musbury heights quarry. A favourite spot of mine. Bit of a climb up a hill to get to it but I let Cowboy Bob drive up rather than carry him there.
This is an experiment because I’ve pretty much run out of storage for pics/vids on this forum. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CTj2FcHHUKe/?utm_medium=copy_link
Not sure tbh.
It’s not something I’ve really considered doing.
but
If I had a suitable marker I’d have to give a try. I wouldn’t be able to resist, just out of curiosity.
I am. For what they are, I’d say they are a bit over priced BUT,
1, they fit pretty well,
2, they do actually keep the worst of the dirt out,
3, they also (I think) add to the scale look of the car.
So all in all, I’m very pleased with mine.
I had my Stout over two years now and I love it.
Mind you, it’s the only crawler I’ve ever owned so don’t know how it compares.
Suspect it might be a tad lower spec than your other rigs but for the money, a good choice I reckon. 👍
