  1. Ahh I live on the manor way, the road you go on to get in the gateway. I drive plant in there sometimes. Usually a Dozer. There is a nice skate park right near there with a nice park too. Otherwise I go to hull bridge usually. Lol.
  2. That would be great! I'm in Essex near Basildon. Is that any good? lol.
  3. Haha yeah and I'm working on a sister for her too lol.
  4. Hello you lot! I thought I would share with you my much loved HPI Rush Evo. I bought this with my Birthday and Christmas money I'd saved up in 2003(Ish) I went into the local model shop at the time with my cash in my pocket after waiting for a time when my Mum was free to take me. I was after all about 12 years old and couldn't yet drive. I'll always remember going in and looking around, and the man who owned the shop came up to me and asked what I was looking for. He said well HPI have released a new one and I've just got some stock. He showed me the Rush Evo. I'd seen it before in my HPI DVD. We didn't have the internet and YouTube wasn't around then because that started in 2005. So I knew about this truck but not much, anyway the price was £199.99 and I had exactly £200 so, I bought it! I really liked it, and I went straight home to run it in. I spent all day that day zipping up and down the road, it was nice to have a change to a smoother sounding engine and something two wheel drive too. Over the years it has been subject to some abuse, I'll tell you! I used to fling this thing off the half pipe at the skate park and it would go straight up and land on its wheels and just drive off... Really strong little cars they are. Now because we didn't have the internet and I don't think there was much in the way of online shopping anyway back then, I didn't get any parts to upgrade anything so it has stayed very much standard. The back wheels were great I loved the X design but they soon went bald and then one flew off one day and hit an old man who was sitting on a bench. So, I went home and nicked the tyres off an old toy RC thing I had and that's what you can see on it today. I am still after a pair of new original tyres for it but I can't find any. Now, in, I would say 2007ish this little truck died. The big end bearing failed and jammed the engine up. I took it apart and lost most of the bits and it sat under my bed for years. When I moved into my own home in 2010 it went in a box in my Garage, until recently! I have been looking for an original T15 engine for it, but those are hard to find IN MY BUDGET so I went got the T3.0 but those all seem to be out of stock. I had some Subscribers of my YouTube channel send me their old engines early this year (2019) but those were also dead. So, what you see today is an old loved Rush Evo with a half dead replacment engine in it that's waiting to be brought back to life!
  5. Looks nice, never had one myself though.
  6. In that case you'll love it, I found it a bit clumsy lol.
  7. I'm not very good at leaving stuff alone either lol.
  8. Hello you lot! I thought I would share with you my Savage 21! I got this for christmas 2002 just after it was released. I had no idea what I was getting because my Mum and Dad just said they would get me an RC car with an engine. I was very young, around 11 years old. I had never had a Nitro car before, I had no idea what they were. YouTube wasn't around then because that started in Febuary 2005 so I couldn't watch video's on Nitro cars either. Also, we didn't have the internet. I used it every single day after school and all day weekends, up and down the roads, in the local woods, parks... I even have one of those HPI cases on wheels because I took in on our anual Holiday. Everything, including the 21BB (3.4cc) engine lasted many years, I changed the engine for a K4.6 in 2012 because my local Hobby shop had one and I felt like buying it. The 21 engine is on a shelf and still works fine. The shell is original and cracked, smashed and dented, but that's how I like it. Most of the screws and bolts on the truck are either missing or replaced with the wrong ones. I installed a 3 speed gearbox and metal twin brake discs in around I'd say 2007ish because the original brake disc melted, and I felt like trying the 3 speed box. Because mainly my family never had computers or internet I never upgraded many parts on it, if I wanted something I had to ask my Mum to take me to the local model shop and I had a look around, anyway back then you couldn't really order anything from the internet like you can these days. Recently in 2019 I came across some metal axles and a few other bits in ebay so I bought them for cheap and added them. This is by far the best and most loved thing I own, it was the main part of my childhood and shaped me for who I am today.
  9. Hello you lot! I thought I would share with you my RC car, it's my lovely MP9. I've not long had it, it's a lovely buggy
  10. Not long sold mine, I wasn't keen on it. What do you think?
  11. You answered your own question when you said it's missing a dog bone.
  12. Yey I can keep my Savage alive!
  13. Cactus

    Rc tools

I don't think my tools have a brand lol.
  14. I have the SGS 100L one, I did a few reviews of it on YouTube. It's alright, if you don't mind noise.
  15. Thinking about it perhaps second hand is the best option. I'm a big fan of older stuff myself and you can get an expensive car for little money if you buy used.
  16. I can't help much but definetly don't go down the cheap chinese road. I've been there and they're not worth the money let alone the time.
  17. Hmm, you forgot to say what car you have there dude.
  18. Hello, I've never had this issue before but I assume you just have a tight engine. Forgive me if you mentioned it but have you tried turning it over with the glow plug out? I would do so if not, just take the plug out and give it a long crank, 10 seconds or so. I susspect the engine has got blocked up with oil after all the ticking over. Once you get it running again, don't stop it. The whole three tanks on tick over and all that rubbish isn't really much good. I always let a new engine run for a few minutes then just go staight into some calm driving. Don't let it run out of nitro, fill it up before it runs out so you can keep it running. After about 4 tanks it'll be fine and ready for a tune. Let me know how it goes!
  19. Oh okey, so they should be genuine plugs then. Not Chinese crap lol.
  20. Sweet I didn't know about those, I thought all the Basildon ones were gone now.
