A question for you good people, so i got the wife an outlaw to run and she likes it, it was too fast for her so i fitted a 35T motor, this improved it no end slowed it down by about 40% and improved run time, but it still uses NI-MH 3500 packs pretty quick.......got a 5200 2s lipo, what would i need to do to run this outlaw on the lipo

Me and my lovely wife Claire took out cars out on the Denholme circular no 4 walk today, according to her fitbit we did just shy of 5 miles, this started out as a wide gravel and dirt road type path........and degenerated into not much more than a wide bumpy rabbit track, some parts were lose sandy gravel and some parts rocky, a great walk and trail drive, i took 5 NI-MH packs and we used every last volt, had to carry my Lynx the last half mile, her outlaw despite having a 35T motor still uses more power than the Lynx, so she had 2x 3500mah and a 3000mah, that left just one 3000 and one 2000mah for the more economical Lynx, i will look at changing her ESC see if that makes it better on fuel lol, this was going to be very picture heavy but there is a silly limit on what you can upload, scrub that i cant upload so no more pics from me

Been trying to sell an as new mostly built Landfreeder for a while, offered it for 80 quid but was told that was a bit pricey, less than half what it cost, so should i paint it black and finish it or leave it clear body and what price should i be asking for it including servo and Billet steering hop up

as above, i started out flying a Volantex ranger 1600 and a volantex firstar 200, fitted FPV and a new motor with larger prop to the ranger 1600 and now it flies amazing, so got a Ranger 1200 G2 coming, this will get a motor upgrade right from the start, just for LOS flying, also looking at getting maybe a warmliner glider

price reduced to £90 if collected as a new project is in the air

Swapped the lynx over to lipo today, using 5200 2s, this should last 3+ hours, also my wheels were coming of found out the standard Hex`s were to wide so got a nice set of Ali locking 5mm wide hex and now the Nylocks grip well

Now that i have tuned it down for trail/.crawling i dont see it breaking anything

I ran mine for half a pack on the new 35T motor and it was stone cold through out still semi fast but not the outright hooligan it had been

starting to think the outlaw is a rather good rig, fitted a brace to the shock tower at the back, and put the 35T crawler motor in, seems to be running cold and still got a fair turn of speed but just not savage like it was on the stock 15T, might still go with a 27T at a later date

Today i stripped down the ripmax fast 2000 to replace the steering servo as it was poorly, my god what a pain in the arris! i have come to the conclusion good though the ripmax is, the outlaw is better, easier to work on, easier to get bits and out of the box just as fast, tempted to sell the ripmax and get an outlaw, or i could just borrow the wifes one, after all i built and tweaked it for her

now have a mk3 batwing to maiden even hotter motor and less weight, should manage around 140-150kph flat out

Interesting regards the reverse motor, that might explain a lot of things, i am about to drop a 27T in mine but might look for a reverse motor around 27T

will give it a few more days then ebay it

Still dont know what to do about motor/gearing, bought a 35T motor to power it down but keep hearing it will smoke on full throttle, so i might steal the 27T out of a broken buggy and try that, if it smokes its only time lost, i could understand it if i went up to a 23 tooth pinion but not on stock 17

I take it your wanting something fast rather than a scale crawler?

Paint is done, 4 coats of metallic purple with a full coat of gloss black to make the purple more solid, stickers to do then sort the power system

some of the HPI monster trucks seem pretty good and look nice but heard getting spares might be a tiny issue
