  1. Hi I have a RS 300GT and pedal set. After 3 years we have killed the accelerator pedal but that’s it. Otherwise it has Been brilliant. Great wheel. Good feel. Feedback is very impressive. For dirt rally 2 you will defo need a dedicated handbrake as hitting circle mid corner isn’t easy. Playing got sport is brilliant. Lobby racing is by far the best fun. Daily races are full of nutters. We keep away from them mainly. Manual gears and TC off is the only way to play. We have a next level racing A stand which folds away. No dedicated chair though. We just pull up a dining chair which happens to be a decent height for us. My sons a foot shorter than I am. He is still faster!!!, Prices are sky high due to global lockdown and the fact that amazon and eBay have a misguided sense of how to sell. If someone actually wants to buy their products then they bang the price up by30% over night. Muppets. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
  2. @Bill1976 Hi I’ve used these. Now on our granite and Senton. Took a punt as didn’t know what I was going to be buying. Totally amazed!! Senton is a different car. Carved through turns. Hardly ever rolls over in full charge into a corner now. You can watch the suspension working with the car leaning in to the corners. So impressed. How it should have been out the box tbf. Can’t recommend enough. I have a vid but it’s a pain to post here. Only issue is the postage from the US. Unless you have family or friends there. I was in my way to NY in jan to see my bro so was a cheap option. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  3. Cheers fellas. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  4. Hi As per title I have a senton 3S blx and it runs a pretty standard Schumacher replacement from original. Things decided to go wonky on me, so was wondering what a powerful waterproof option would be good. Don’t want to spend unnecessary money if not needed. All advice greatly relieved. Thanks. 5. RC world went into overdrive as soon as Britain was locked down. Old project s were dusted off and spares ordered, people bought themselves and loved ones a new treat to deal with the boredom and all just as international shipping fell apart and only vital supplies were being transported. Net result, nothing’s out there. Sucks. I’d take up fishing, but we’re not allowed that respite. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  6. If buying from China I would suggest that when ordering you order a few spares that are common to break such as a set of front suspension arms etc Then if you break a part you’re not waiting a month + for a replacement. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  7. Yeah deliveries out of China right now [emoji1787] Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  8. The absima you mentioned is a great car. Bought a pal one for a treat. Only problem is the suspension arms break quite easily but there are ally versions available for 15 quid a pair. Otherwise it’s light and fast. Battery tray is not the biggest and wheels running washers rather than ball bearings but these can be changed to ball bearing easily. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  9. I have Senton and the boy has a granite both 3S Both very fast. As said granite takes a pounding and carries on. My boy’s spends plenty of time barrel rolling down paths and off road!! His never breaks. Yes the servos are rubbish and the esc’s can do wierd things. Warranty is very good though. And better-replacements are easy and free. The shocks are rubbish. That will cost you 25 quid to change. The body of the granite takes a hammering unless you’re brilliant at jumping it from the start. As it wants to backflip off everything it can take some getting used to. As a result the rear end gets smashed to pieces. The shock towers punch through the body after repeatedly landing on its back. Not the cars fault. I fitted sponges on top of the shock towers to soften the blows. Also reinforced with scrim tape and CT1. Makes them more indestructible but it still gets destroyed. Bodies are over 30 quid so be warned. We have destroyed 2 in 6 months. Just broke a wheelie bar, but this has taken so much abuse it should have broken in the first week. You need to buy and replace the pin ball sets for all linkages regularly as these are cheapo plastic and wear out very fast. Leaving everything loose and floppy. Hot Racing make metal versions. Lastly our granite is the one buggy that keeps making it back to the house in one piece. The Senton, almost the same with same parts seems to be weaker and breaks more internal parts. Don’t know why but it’s always the granite that survives. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  10. What he said. The Arrma servos aren’t up to much. Had to have both changed under warranty on ours. Would suddenly lock full turn and you’d loose the car in the bushes. If you waited and turned off and on it would sort itself. But a right nightmare. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  11. Senton 6S May fit that budget in the States. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  12. Had same before Check all solder joints to motor etc. Clean all connectors too. Scratch up and make shiny. Might just help. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  13. These make pretty quick cars on 2 s. They are very light. Suspension arms need swapping out for ally but otherwise pretty neat. Kit version is cheap as chips. https://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=437209&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-4_sk9m_6AIVgoXVCh289AReEAQYASABEgL9g_D_BwE Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  14. Vikings is excellent Jack Ryan series and Treadstone series as a spin off. Hunters with alpacino is excellent quite Tarantino ish. Great Greek myths is fab too. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  15. Senton and granite 3S Seem to be similar on usage. We run 6200 mah and it very much depends on throttle position. If bashing and following off road trails then maybe 20 mins or more. If out in the open doing 150 yard blasts at full throttle and drag racing too. Then expect about 10 mins odd. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  16. Sorry mate 3S From Amazon and prime delivery so not coming from China. And now 67 quid for 2. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  17. I’ve started using Yome 6200 mah 50c About 75 quid for 2. Excellent packaging. On visual. Very nicely made. Take ages to balance charge but I’m not worried about that. Performance Spot on. Our cars fly. They last a decent amount of time. Overall I’m impressed. Not seen any difference to our bigger named brand batteries. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  18. Had the Senton and granite out at the buggie park today. The new shocks ( the ally versions I posted earlier ) Fitted to both. WHAT a difference! They’ve changed the ride on both completely. Can highly recommend now. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  19. Yup been out of stock a while, tells you lots about the originals really. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  20. I’ve just come back from the states with a set of these. Wasn’t sure without seeing them but they are really nicely made. Full ally, progressive springs too! Fitted them to the lads granite last night and hit the park today. Like night and day. Very planted and soaks up uneven ground and softens landings considerably. I have a set to go on the Senton . Good value if you can get round the postage as I did. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  21. Yeah they make shock bodies for the 3 and 4S cars. Not sure about the 6s. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  22. Unfortunately with RC Mart I think they are an American site so still paying 20 bucks delivery on one product. Edit Just checked. They don’t have them anyway. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  23. We’ve given up with the leaky Arrma shocks. Total disaster tbh. Granite and Senton leakv soon after fixing. Now using hot racing shock bodies. And a set of ally shocks I just bought from NY last week. What a difference. Cars are planted and don’t slap the ground so hard when jumping etc. If you know someone in the states then have them order and not pay 20 dollars delivery. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  24. We run ours next to our apartment block and back of houses. In reality no more than 20 odd minutes of noise. Daytime neighbours can say nothing. Sure you can hear the electric motors but it’s no more annoying than kids playing and having a laugh. Just crack on and enjoy yourself. There is always someone who’s a miserable @&£/. People love to complain. Idiots. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
  25. So it can’t go on a road[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] I’m not talking on a race track and you know it. There’s an All weather playground by the park and if you hit full speed and then brake it does a stoppie then barrel rolls. This was when brand new of course and my boy was also only about 8. Did it to me a couple of times too. As for not breaking parts, as said you must be a superior driver to most. It’s common knowledge that the parts are prone to break easily. I point to the outlaw thread on here as reference. Strait off the bat, you’ve modded it so it has a lower centre of gravity[emoji1787] But they’re great. Funny thing is my lad had it out today and he still likes it. ( mainly as it was his first rc) first run in over a year tbh. Lasted 10 mins. With all the issues of body roll, twisting and torque steer on decent 2s. Along with ballooning tires I can safely say hand on heart that our experience with it, had shown it to be a fairly poor handling and inferior rc. Bash, Break, Build, Repeat...
