  1. I like it, ive been thinking what to do to personalise it abit Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  2. Version 2 of the motor mount, i paid for it to be printed in metal as the plastics where deforming at the top due to not enough material. Ive a feeling this one wont do the same, i ordered it in steel as it was half the price of aluminium (about £16 + postage against 30ish in alu) Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  3. I bashed the Ftx Outlaw for a pack an half. Had fun with cartwheels, Jumps learning how to drive it. Bonus is nothing broke Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  4. I do mean to have a look at the halifax one, ive been to rcmodeldirect(i think) at normanton and they have what looks to be a nice indoor electric only joby, plus a small crawler setup on the side. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  5. Abit of more bling for the Ftx Outlaw Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  6. Keep up the great work Frederik, i really enjoy seeing what your doing on this build. So are you keeping the servo up front ? If so could half of it be hidden with a bonnet/hood slam panel and the other half dressed up as if its the radiator? Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  7. Well ive gone and ordered some more bling [emoji37] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  8. Had a slight tweek of the hw sct pro 120a esc's timing&punch and i think its slightly reduced the cogging. Hoepfuly i can give it a quick run on the way home from work at temple newsam to check temps on/off road. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  9. For me if i was honest, i'd say dont bother with the brushed version, go straight to brushless. i should have just paid for the brushless as most if my problems stem from me messing about with fitting my own brushless system and my 3d printed motor mounts which caused my stripping of the spurs. Other that that ive not actually broken anything barring a few teeth off a diff as i didnt check the setup when i bought it. I've just wanted to add abit of bling really, and find it fun to drive. What would the alternatives be for £200? Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  10. Anyone else fitted the alloy rear arm supports? As i found mine needed a smaller screw set as the original in the plastic set up where to long i ended up just running a 1-2mm off them on the bench grinder, and lockited then in. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  11. Started to fit some bits, nice new chassis and rear link supports? [emoji4] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  12. Yey the carbon chassis has turned up today [emoji16] Surprised how stiff it is, also got the front sway bars to fit, plus rebuild the front dif with the correct parts. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  13. Have a measure of the originals, as the ssd site has the diamensions on so if they are same length give them ago Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  14. Fitted the goolrc 3660 3800kv just to see me through until i can get the sensored one in. I got the same strange rumbling as the motor sorts its self out. But on a 23 or 22t pinion (cant recall which one is fitted) it certainly flys. Motor got warm (70f) with driving on concrete the odd bit of uncut lawn, so think this may do ok too with offroad, need to test futher. But it was fun [emoji4] first car that'll pop a wheelie from mid throttle to full ive had. I can see me breaking serious bits now. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  15. The red card was a goolrc 3660 4pole 3800kv ... finally [emoji4] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  16. Picked up a carnage/vantage slipper today, looks like i maybe attempting a gearbox redesign at some point Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  17. A red card from the post person, could be an ftx outlaw carbon chassis or a 3660 bl motor which has taken 40+ days from china + ebay escalation Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  18. Looks very lairy at them speeds Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  19. Aye but its for the wheel lathe so theres need for fine adjustment of position, plus no OHL for the electrics. Having said that i'm just an emergancy backup for when we're doing other work on the lathe road, so probably wont get to use it in anger [emoji17] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  20. Not so much my model but was trained to drive a 20ton RC vehicle for moving trains today. 13s power but probably more fun for you guys who are into crawling [emoji1] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  21. So neat and tidy. You should try the weight of mine One of my other on going rebuild projects. [emoji1] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  22. 1:1 Disco? Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  23. Had you run in your motor? I managed to kill my first ftx outlaws 550 15t motor on lipo as i didnt run it in properly. The second motor i did the 10mins in water bath and this one seems much cooler running Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  24. Some Austar tyres just need some wheels now [emoji4] Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  25. Id not even realised there where holes in the wheels [emoji1] Looks like im going to have to get some baloons soon Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
