Chaps, is Saturday classed as a 'working' day for Parcelforce? Looking to order something and it's only giving me one postage option of Next Working Day, just wondering if it's sent tomorrow, what's the chances of it landing Saturday rather than Monday? I can go and pick it up on Monday that's all.

Hmm, is anyone having any issues with YouTube playing?
The video shows as playing but no audio.
Tried 5 different random videos and nothing, my audio is working, just tested it on another website and also with some music.
Rather odd.

Feel realy let down by all the forum staff and administration.
I entered the competition for the fastrax enduro engine and no one else did.
And it ended on Friday now I've just been told that I haven't won because there wasnt enough entry's.
No where did it say a minimum amount of entry's needed to be made before a winner would be chosen.
What a big fat let down.
I'm well disappointed think I'm not renewing my gold membership and probably won't use the forum anymore.

I get it but I wouldn't get that beat up over it to be honest.
Yes it sucks but I can see other peoples point about it not really being a competition with only one entry.
Perhaps it should have been more closely monitored and either the competition extended or ended early to have got around the problem in the first place.

So,you entered and "won" the prize was a nitro engine you didn't really need or want, correct?
I appreciate it may suck but just put it behind you and move on,can't see much point in entering if you didn't really want it anyway or was the plan to just sell it on again?
Maybe only enter competitions for stuff you want to win in the future?

Why the hell do people push the buy now and still 24hrs later no payment IT`S SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!
-
You will get the extortion,sorry,fees,back.
Send the buyer a request to cancel the sale/auction and as soon as they acknowledge the request you will get the fees back.
Worth bearing in mind they have quite a few days grace to reply to the request to cancel as well.
If they dont respond to it you still get the fees back but it is just another way of making you wait.

No wonder the u.k. stores struggle. Just looking at rc stuff on the bay and it's rife with the Chinese sellers / stuff. A few of them are shipping from warehouse storage units in Portsmouth and still undercutting the u.k. stores by a mile. Might try one of those £28 "castle" 2650kv motors

With reference to tonight's Robot wars, can I just say... the driver/builder/owner of Foxic is a COMPLETE A**EHOLE!!

Just got round to watching the F1 and my synopsis is that: When 70% of the cars get lapped, they're constantly coasting to save fuel, the amount of tyre management made is ridiculous. It's time to call it a day on these mobile advertising boards.

Just watched it, very weird.

Wowzers, Adobe Premiere Pro is going to take some getting used to!
-
He still has everything he has every bought,he doesn't sell anything.
He just says well I wanted it at the time and I might use it again so why get rid of it,it isn't costing me anything for it to just sit there
He has pretty much every console/handheld ever made since the NES up the PS3 when we finally gave up playing games although oddly he has never felt the need to buy an Ipad

My mate has got three cars and two motorbikes!
One car is a 1980's Triumph Spitfire that he bought back from the States with him when he lived there for a couple of years.
It was perfectly usable as it was and had no rust on it just some crazed paint from the heat as it had spent all it's life in Arizona.
He had a crazy idea of removing all the engine emissions stuff and making it more UK spec but there are some subtle differences that make that more difficult than it sounds.
Despite that within a few months of getting it home he rented a unit and started stripping it down.
About 12 years later it is still totally in bits and he has been paying rent on the unit for all that time.

I spent £1500 on my Imac and am more than happy with it.
My mate specced his right up on EVERYTHING to the tune of £3K+ despite my advice,AGAIN!
He still gets frustrated with it at times as he thinks it should be "instant" rather than getting the spinning beach ball that last all of about 1.5 seconds!
He doesn't even use it that much.
He also spent about £2k on a top of the line Sony 4K camcorder and every time I go over it is just sat in the bag in the same spot it was the last time I was there.
He has got nothing to do with his money and he earns enough to afford it all with resorting to credit cards etc but I do find it a bit sad he has all this decent kit that just doesn't get any use, when I suggest we go and film some stuff he is like, meh, maybe next week.

When my mate bought his Imac he got Final Cut Pro to go with it.
I told it not to buy it straight away and to try iMovie that comes as standard on the Mac first as FCP is pretty dam tricky.
He didn't listen and hasn't used FCP once yet despite spending over £200 on it,he uses iMovie all the time instead.
I hate it when people ask for advice and then don't listen

Lets not forget that in our misguided attempt's to do the right thing we armed a lot of the Middle East in an attempt to destabilize the region and topple the dictators .
When that failed we did it ourselves in more direct action such as the misguided Gulf War 2.
We thought we did the right thing by getting rid of Hussain and Gadaffi in one way or another but all that did was open the borders to everyone whereas the dictators at least kept their borders secure by fair means or foul.
So you could ultimately argue that pretty much all the "civilized" world allowed terrorism to flourish by removing these restrictions.

Caustic soda works as well apparantly but dont leave the item in long as it the metal as well from what i have read and can leave pitting on the surface.
It is also very nasty stuff and the fumes are dangerous as well.
Make sure you do it outside and wear protection,I splashed a little drop on my arm once by accident when using it to unblock a sink and it is very painful, even a little drop burns.
