I assume you have the fuel lines on the right way round? People think the primer bulb is the fuel in point when it is in fact the overflow pipe back to the tank. The fuel in point is the one under the carb.

If the clutch is worn that much it will just be metal on metal with next to no grip between the clutch and the clutch bell.

Sounds like the clutch is gone. When it is off the ground there is no weight on the wheels so what is left of the clutch is engaging enough to make the wheels move all be it very slowly. When it is on it's wheels on the ground what is left of the clutch isn't enough to provide any positive drive.

Also worth bearing in mind that if you all choose the same model there is a chance that the shop wont have 3 of the same one in stock at a time. Maybe in the past but as suggested elsewhere these days shops don't keep lots of items in stock at a time. I have bought stuff before that has been in stock and then gone out of stock as soon as I have paid.

Pipe has been sent out today so all being well I will pick it up at lunchtime tomorrow and can get it on Wednesday,cue the rain!

My 5ive came with a BZM micro exhaust that had also been wrapped. The previous owner had changed the mounting arrangement and the results made it look a bit messy as he had welded over the previous mounting points so I think he wrapped it to cover that up,it was functional just not pretty It had some surface rust on it and I just used some oil and wire wool that seemed to work well at getting the surface rust off. There were a few dents in the pipe and around the areas that had been patched that I couldn't get the wire wool into to make it perfectly clean but it still came out okay.

I had looked at the Samba as well. Freeprawn had one but it was listed as the 2014 version,Hobbythek had what appeared to be a newer 2016 version although I am not sure what the difference is supposed to be? The only reason I didn't buy a Samba one is I am not keen on how the main part of the body of the pipe attaches to the rear brace. I prefer the Bartolone as the rear mount for the pipe is connected directly to the chassis although I don't know if it in either case it really matters

I found the ESC fans on both the Hobbywing ESCs I had to be mini tornadoes right from the first moment you switched them on,there was certainly no change in fan speed depending on temperature,it was full on all the time even when the ESC was cold.

I wanted the Bartolone as it seemed to be the pipe of choice for the 5ive and the G320 engine. Maybe that was the problem,wanting one that is too popular and stock is thin on the ground over here? I looked at ordering one from the USA but it wouldn't have worked out any cheaper by the time customs charges were added and even though I would have got it in a couple of days I didn't do it as I hadn't foreseen buying one in the UK being such the "problem" it has become

When I ordered it it was in stock,I know their stock figures aren't always right so I said I would have the black finish as first choice and the raw if they didn't have the black,both were showing in stock at the time. Turns out they had neither I said I would still have the black version and I was told I should have it by the end of this week. Would just like to know what is going on with it as with one company and another I have been trying to get an exhaust for about 2 weeks now The car has sat gathering dust for the last couple of weeks and I am now in two minds about keeping it when it is finished as the enthusiasm I had for it has gone a bit while I have been waiting for the exhaust.

I did send an email the other day asking for an update but haven't heard anything back,I know a phone call is the easiest way to get answers but don't want to seem like I am bothering people too much by asking especially if they might not be feeling very well. Hopefully will hear something one way or the other in the next week or so,with one thing and another I could really do with the "distraction" of getting the car going after the last couple of weeks.

I am not going mad,just eating less in general with less junk. Will do the 30 mins walk each day even though I do spend most of the day on my feet at work. I used to walk a lot a few years ago,sometimes for miles at a time but I have just let it slip for the easy life of sitting in front of the TV and computer instead of getting out there. I was going to do a bit this afternoon but now I am sat waiting for a phone call from a certain person again but dont feel so guilty as I did a good 30 mins this morning and even though my legs were burning by the end it soon passed.

Thanks,there are various things in my life that are the trigger for me trying to make some changes. I did comfort eat and I know that but given how I feel at the moment eating is the last thing I want to do. I have been in an intense relationship for barely ONE week that has really shook me up,yeah,that's right,ONE week. Nothing has even really happened and we have spent the best part of about 5 hours together at most. We have worked together for about 2 years but I didn't see her much as we did different shifts originally but in the last couple of months both our shifts changed and we spent 3-4 days a week around each other. We were always flirty but I didn't read much into it as I have been there before and made mistakes and I knew she was married with a couple of young kids and she was like that anyway with most people. Last Friday I was coming home from seeing a friend and I saw her and stopped to give her a lift. We sat in a car park for about 1 hour chatting as she was now early meeting the person she was supposed to. It was obvious from that point there was something between us but I still tried to play it down and so did she,we agreed to just be friends even though she was giving me serious puppy dog eyes and kept reaching for my hand and messing with my hair. We worked together Saturday without much being said and I didn't see her Sunday and we didn't chat much. We met Tuesday morning for a couple of hours and I got the puppy dog eyes and a serious wanting looks but again I played it down and we agreed to just be friends for the second time. She went to met a friend and that was that,however I got a text a few hours later asking if we could met again. I agreed and it all came pouring out about how she felt about me but we both said it was unlikely there could be anything between us,we kissed a bit but she got upset and very confused. I saw her Thursday lunchtime for about an hour despite my better judgement and it all came out again,the eyes and very nearly the tears,it was very hard for both of us but again we agreed to just be friends. I got back to work and the texts started again straight away saying we would make something work,confusion or what! However last night it all changed again when we chatted online,we finally agreed that there cant be anything between us and it ended pretty abruptly,I am not even sure if she wants to be friends still. She is so conflicted about how she feels about me and her commitment to her children and I completely understand that she finds it difficult to be around me. She gave her notice at work a while ago and has since left so I don't have that to content with that but work doesn't feel the same now she isn't there for me even if we were only going to remain friends. So,I have decided to try and at least get a bit fitter to give me something to distract myself with and maybe even change my job. Did my first 30 minute walk this morning,might do a couple of laps around the block at work today as well to keep me motivated at lunch time

Thanks for that. I understand what you mean,half way to being a coach potato as it is. Used to walk to town all the time now I cheat and drive halfway instead when it is only 15 minutes to walk it completely. I did used to walk a lot more as a whole but as I have got older the motivation is lacking somewhat and that is where the issue lies,go out walking or take the easy option of sitting in front of the TV eating and drinking loads of tea

46 years old and got a few extra pounds here and there,not these kind of £s though Don't really want to go to a gym cause I don't want to pay membership more than anything but think I should do something to get a bit fitter. Have space at home for one piece of kit but what would be a good "all round" piece of equipment? I couldn't run very far so that is a bit pointless and I know I wouldn't keep it up if that was the only piece of equipment I bought. Cycling would be okay but I assume that is more about legs than anything,need something that covers all over as much as possible such as arms,legs,stomach etc if such a thing exists. My job is physical and involves quite a bit of lifting and carrying as it is but I think I could do more. Yes I appreciate diet also plays a part and that will be addressed as well.
