No problem mate, if your taking it apart make sure you get a head gasket otherwise you could end up with an air leak there not expensive and it's worth buying to save any hassle if it's a true hole as in all the way through it needs replacing, as for would it run I'm not sure tbh but I wouldn't risk it will almost certainly cause more damage to the point you'll be rebuilding the engine. Clean the head with a little petrol on a clean cloth if its just a black spot put everything back together and adjust your needles maybe even reset the carb back too factory setting and the re-tune when the engine has been running/warmed up. Factory setting is high needle/screw 1 and a half turns from closed (screwed all the way in would be closed) and low speed needle/screw to 1 and a quarter turns from closed, hope this helps you mate.
