It was probably more to wards the 1mm side of things, I have tried turning the idle screw down to no avail. When all the wheels are off the ground it justs begins to rev up like it's on full throttle. I'll try the low speed needle now thanks

The only one I know of is hyper star from rc will power. Ebay Asia.  Plenty of precut painted ones. 

Cutting them out is fast and easy if you use lexan scissors. Scalpel and sand block/paper or drum.  There's always a messed up bit tho lol.

The hum  it could be the dust so remove it all. Any fuse remove it and clean the contacts on them and on the board. also unplug everything you can. Do that a few times.  if it still hums then it might be the power caps. They ar not hard to replace really    but getting hold of some could be the issue.

I think getting another one in better condition is going to be quite very very hard haha. These things don't pop up everyday in the physical condition its in haha. 

I'll so some research about them it could even be something like a leaky transistor or even just the gains need adjusting for each out put. So many possibilities lol 

try to fix whatever you can before paying for it to be fixed  as they might charge by the hour.  just don't take it to dixons or some place like it.  lol

I'm currently an apprentice, gone from working 6/7 day weeks on a good overtime rate to working 5 days a week, not getting paid for college and as of yet no overtime. Been promised price work since I started with them in August but had nothing. Wish my old company didn't go bust!

I agree with Tamiya on this one, set youself some sort of savings up. I put a little away each week, about 5 quid of my 60 I think and increased it as I went. Im looking good to retire when I hit 60 now and notice no real income drop. 

I'm also an Apprentice and have been since September, I'm getting paid over the tax bracket so I'm currently paying tax which isn't an issue as I've paid very little into the system before is started working. At my place we get paid by the minute and anything before or after our aloted time we get time and a half. At the moment I can't really do that much extra time due to having to be supervised most the time. This apprenticeship is only a stepping stone as my current interest is NDT which my company does.d

Pouring petrol in my old Raptor 250 without a spout and forgot I removed the plug then kicked it up and POOOOF up in smoke

Yup, agreed, I've had 7 of those Mach's through my hands in various buggies and none of them ever really seemed happy... Ran 5 of the 21's and they were all really nice engines.

I must be the only one who liked the .28 engine...found it a breeze to tune in my nitro ST when I had it....much easier than the HPI .21 that was in my Trophy buggy.

@ shdaxner Basic is at Halton R.A.F in Buckinghamshire. Going for Engineering. Then after my 5 year training program and 4 years of service I should hopefully get the opportunity to become a pilot
