Dont get too excited about an RS4. As nice as they are, they are very boring! Sound nice, look smart but not as fast as you would expect. The most dissapointing car I have ever driven.

Just thought i'd join the party here. Having smoked for 16 years, 2 days ago I bought an e cigarette. Its an kangertech ipow. It has a smok rbc whatever that is. So far so good, I havent had a real cigarette for over 48 hours, the longest time in 16 years! Does anybody have a link to a breakdown of what things are, what things mean(like rbc, atomiser, clearomiser etc) what fits what etc as I am fairly clueless! How long do elements last, differences in them and where is the best places to buy this stuff from? Thanks for any help you can give me! Adam
  4. Ah sorry, I missed the truggy part! Maybe they are legal in a truggy, i'm not sure. I'll just climb back into my hole!
  5. If you are just getting into racing then look at alpha engines, they can be supplied in a box set complete with clutch, clutch bell, flywheel and pipe. They are good value for money. I run an RB blast V15 engine and its a cracker. As fast as most novas, plenty of go in it, good on fuel doing 10 min runs if you are steady with the throttle. It has been faultless. Will hold a tune all day, in fact I havent needed to touch the needles for 3 meetings now. It will also happily sit on the spot ticking over all day long if you wanted it to! Answer rc are the suppliers and with a pipe I think they are about
  6. A quick test with the plug is to take it out, wire brush the electrode to clean it up a bit, then use a blow torch or lighter to really heat it up, not so hot that is it turns red but hot! Stick it back in and pull it over and see what happens. I have started many stuborn strimmers, hedge trimmers and mowers this way. If it does fire, then stick a new plug in it.
  7. Thanks mate, I will send them an email.
  8. Hi, I have a GT14b with a broken front inner hinge pin brace. I have looked everywhere trying to find one, in fact, I think I have worn google out!! Do any of you know anywhere that has them in stock or maybe you have one in your box I can buy off you. The part no. Is GT14BP0601. Thanks for any assistance. Adam
  9. I race with a sanwa gemini x stick system. Its a cracking bit of kit. It has everything you would want for racing and some you wouldnt. I really dont see the need to spend
  10. I do hope you cleaned it first!
  11. It has to be over, no question. I cant believe some barbarians would willingly go under! Dont talk to me about the stuff we had at school, flat sheets of what seemed to just be small sheets of tracing paper! Many days of ring sting followed.
  12. Rear diffs have a habit of exploding, transfer boxes dying, gearboxes are made by cadburys. As already mentioned the alternator being too low is an issue as well as the shear amount of electrical issues these things carry. The freelander 2's are better but there are much better 4x4's out there for the money. P38 range rovers can be had cheap and arent as unreliable as people make them out to be. Diahatsu fourtraks are basically bombproof, rust is there biggest issue. For a budget 4x4 my money would go into a shogun/pajero. Good on the road, good off road and generally a good thing to live with. I would opt for a swb manual 2.8 if you could find one but the auto's are very good as is the 2.5 if a little under powered. Also decent L200 animal/warriors can be had for around
  13. There are plenty of mk2's about if your pockets are deep enough. They need to be deep too! A year or 2 ago we sold a rotten heap of a mk2.(I work at a car auction) been in a damp shed for 12 years. Rotten as a pear but it was a 2 door, non sunroof shell and we sold that for
  14. They are a pain in the backside. I am currently fixing up a HB lightening gtx2 for a workmates son. Its a **** of a thing. It is seriously cool and sounds great but seriously, 2 engines is utterly pointless. Even my little hpi trophy would smoke it!
  15. Any plans for an engine change? Even if not, those little xflows are tunable engines!
  16. Lovely, will be watching this with interest. I have a real soft spot for the mk2's! Good luck with it mate.
  17. They are there to limit overall suspension travel, not to adjust ride height. In my less experienced days I used these to lower a touring car and actually ended up snapping the rear arms through the force of the springs. They put alot of pressure on a very concentrated part of the arm. They also effect handling in a big way too. The only proper way to adjust the ride height is either shim the shock or use the preload adjusters. Or if that isnt enough, just use shorter shocks.
  18. An expensive gimmick, nothing more. If it was a real dyno, I would be all over it like a rash!
  19. I think he is talking about the droop screws. Lowering the ride height with these is not a good idea.
  20. Cleaned it ready for this weekends racing. I forgot just how fast these things are when I hadnt driven it for 6-8 weeks!
  21. I had loads of dodgy readings In my real car with that app. 0-60's ranging from 3.5 secs to 25 secs depending on how hormonal it was feeling at the time! 135mph does sound ambitous to me mind!
  22. Agree with the others, get a 7ah sla battery, I use one and can get a full weekends racing without any noticable drop in power. Mine was
  23. Cracking little cars these ef's. I used to have a D16 powered one, it took more punishment than any engine should ever have to and it just laughed it off! It will go like stink, good luck with it!
  24. If it helps, I have one of these and it is great. It came recommended to me by a fellow racer. 12v and 240v so very useful in the field! Well worth the
