You'll both report it, you'll get your courtesy car, his company will be billed by your company etc etc...you may have to pay your excess, which will be recovered from his insurers...a ball ache in some ways, but if you need a car, then the only feasible option.
Remember this, YOU have the final say on who repairs your motor, if the insurers recommend somewhere you're not happy with. You'll have to be firm, mind

Not always these days Noj. Majority of insurers now charge you an extra 150 - 300 if you dont use their repairer. As your guarantee is with the insurace company, they charge the extra to cover themselves if the job isnt up to scratch. My last 3 insurers wanted 300 more on the excess if I chose bodyshop.

Well a good morning bash although it was cut short as my daughters car stopped running and couldn't get it going again get home and found it's those damn pesky tamiya connectors I should have changed it beforehand it's my own fault

it's an FTX esc & RX in one unit, it's what came with her car, i'll upgrade it soon anyway

Same one here but makes no mention of Lipo's so perhaps I better not http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ftx-edge-siege-3-in-1-unit/rc-car-products/385169 might just upgrade the esc and motor to brushless anyway
