The postie mystery. Why does my postie have me sign for packages when my neighbour is’nt in and leaves them with me when they're small enough to fit through a letterbox. OK don’t mind signing for them but he then goes and sticks a card through their letterbox saying the packages have been left with a neighbour? Why not just take the flippin packages and stick them through their letterbox instead???

Yeah I have asked this before, when small but important bits have been left with a neighbour, who works weird hours so I have to wait until the next day.
They can't leave packages anywhere other than the house of the person who signed for it.
The funny ones are when stuff is left with me that fits through my letterbox, with no signature

Is anybody actually bothering to watch the Winter Olympics? Just can’t get interested this year and haven’t watched any at all.

Well the Men snowboarding was good but the women, well...
Equality strikes, "we can do the same kickers as the men. We don't need smaller ones" is what they said. What happens? They either bottle it and bail on the run or wipe out hard. Ha!. Guys are doing like 1440's and the girls can barely pull a 360 on the same ramps. All they is "waiting for the wind to drop". You're an Olympian you have to work with your conditions and not just bail out and cry.

Ah Amazon. Couple of packages from Amazon didn’t turn up although their tracking showed them as being delivered and handed to resident. No note was left. Contacted Amazon and they said the packages had accidentally been scanned as delivered but were actually in transit but they would sort out replacements if they didn’t show up,by Friday. Then this evening a neighbour a few doors down came over with the packages ( he’d just got home from work ) that had been left in his porch.
Oh what a clueless bunch.

Rather like the new RC4WD Dakar race truck.

Victory for common sense. The US International Trade Commision in a unanimous ruling chucks out Boeings complaint against Bombardier saying that there was no basis for their claim. Few thousand jobs in the UK now saved.
-
I was just reading about that. Its great news nr 300% tax is spite. Isn't boeing doing enough buisness or is lockheed slowly pushing them out lol. Last moves.
I wread a story on the American industrial complex its pretty crazy. But Lockheeds merger with another giant pushed it infront. Now it has the most staff the best states and all the politicians wanting to keep them sweet.
Now bombadier is making moves they cried unfair advantage?
Uk/CA is subsidising bombardier too much.
It sounds like amazing news a huge deal with canada securing tons of jobs in Ireland too. High skill labour jobs too.
Mayb another reason people keep saying the pound is ticking up abit. Or hopfully this is extra good news.
Usa must be nervous keep trying to do sly things to keep #1 like meeting the eu to discuss breaking up the nhs on fair trade laws. Again subsidised by govt HELL NO. You pay full price.
Gaddafi gave his people free health care. Why can't usa.
Does it matter though its just 2min to midnight on the doom clock.
Russia might have a new nuke sub. 100 megaton drone sub 5ft x 75ft. APPARANTLY according to leaked pentagon papers?
I saw it on tomonews with russias robo troops ot cosmo naughts whatever a human can do they can do it. Inc firing two pistols accurately and hoping to have them at iss by 2021. Sounds too good.
Also new planes that are huge but just skim the ground, to be used like transporter ships. They cam easily skim over the water land or ice no bother.
Russia has been busy if its all true. I don't like the idea of rc 100megaton nukes swimming around though. Surly they could be hacked. Or something.

Don’t think I’d want to fly by Pegasus airlines. Don’t like the way they park.
They say they had a “Runway excursion incident” at Trabzon airport in Turkey. No injuries fortunately.

Some may be going thirsty this Xmas.
-
7:00am and back from shopping and the petrol station. No need to go out again until Xmas day. Like Xmas early opening times..
Now the big decision. Breakfast or back to bed for an hour.
-
Toys R Us UK gets a last minute reprieve. Looks like most UK stores will now be kept open. So it looks like most employees won’t be losing their jobs this Xmas.
-
Came across this Xmas card that seems particularily appropriate to buying online for Xmas.

I would really like this NIB kit. I really would. But not at that price. Can’t believe how much some of these vintage kits fetch..
-
Ha Ha...Pull the other one. Email received.

In the words of Forrest Gump stupid is as stupid does. What a total idiot.

Xmas must be coming.
Just back from shopping. Shops packed and madness in the car parks. Impatient drivers circling the car park looking for a space and much blowing of horns, shaking of fists and shouting words that can’t be mentioned on here.
Ah merry Xmas indeed.

I nearly got run down last night i nearly threw my ecig at the jag it infuriated me. Small dark road cars go single file. Not this brand new jag he used the path. I needed my ecig tho stopped myself n jus shouted instead. Its pitch black around the village at night. Dangerous enough without snobs thinkinh they own the paths aswel as road.

@bertberr - yet the roads are still littered with absolutely terrible drivers.
-
Snow !!! Yes it’s actually snowing this morning aand coming down pretty quickly as well although just slightly too warm to settle except on the cars.
-
Well it’s a flood of Black Friday offers emails in my inbox. Enough already.
Anyone notice how unspecial most of the offers are? Where are the US style 80% off specials???
-
Annoying.....eBay sellers that don’t respond to an offer. Why have the offer option if you’re not going to respond to an offer? Oh well there’s still a few hours for them to respond.

The Milenium Falcon is finally finished and siting in it’s display table in the lounge. Been quite a build but more than happy with the result.

Thought it was April 1st when I first read this. Like bleeping heck would I let an Amazon driver have a code to enter my house when I’m not at home.

I just get it shipped to a amazon locker / post office now days so much easier than waiting for a driver to find my address on a main road!
this would be great for me they can get access to front door into porch but I can lock inner door to house. so they can leave items secure but have no access to house. better than hiding parcel in the bin. I have been tempt to but a lockable shed/garden storage locker near front door with a lock for delivery's
prime been great for me, spent over £30k last year via work at amazon and saved a fortune on next day shipping.

Silly prices for hobby stuff. Was looking for some Tamiya masking tape and came across this. Obviously a mistake but what’s the most ridiculous price you’ve seen for accessories or even an RC.
