I'm planning on going 2.4Ghz with a Flysky GT2B. Simple trimming method, it's like 27 MHz without the glitching and the big antenna. Good for beginners.
negative camber, softer fronts, stiffer rears, lock the rear diff. get a wide space to practice, or you can try playing video games so you don't break your car. that's how i learned it.
Yokomo Ichiroku 1/16's are also good, but there are little to no parts available so you can probably only 50/50 with it. Also, 1/16 body shells are really rare.
