  1. Incase you don't know. Lipo's can only be charged using a Lipo charger
  2. Any charger charging through the balance plug will have a limited charge current because the wires are too small to carry more than 2A
  3. It's alright.... Actually it's better than alright! but not as good as Lone Survivor....
  4. Can you notch or drill the mount so you can access the grub screw the other way around? I've always had problems with 6s 1/8th scale when done that way, modified the mount and it's been ok since.... BTW, love the build [emoji106]I hope to convert mine one day.... 5. Hi everyone, I've always fancied giving drifting a go, so I'm going to convert this old relic into something that will go sideways It's going to be a slow process that will involve going through several pages of topics while I work out what I need to do. The first step is going to be strip it and the last step is fitting a sexy body. Everything else is a blur.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Excellent QRC hoping to go to Bawsey soon? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Set of tyres for the 5ive Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I've read the software has evolved over the years so may no longer be compatible with Xbox? With regards to BB speed it will have addons to change the cach size and some other setting to make it work better, Google and YT will show you what to do if you need to change it. Also I have plugged mine into a network port instead of wifi, that helped a lot Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. You should be able to install it on your Xbox as the software (XBMC) stands for Xbox Media Centre because that was what it was originally designed for! Ps I now have it on my iPad mini Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. I've got that one and I'm impressed by it, paid
  11. I would consider doing a deal with Losi 5ive or 1/8th electric parts...
  12. I'm not keen on selling the tools individually, if I have no interest I could be tempted in selling the tool chest and keeping the tools. Or selling the tools as a job lot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. It's a possibility... I will give it a week and if I've still got it I'll consider it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. My losi after a very wet track day at Tri-County's Bashers track Never had a RC so dirty, it was so heavy from mud I burnt out the clutch! Mine is the one in the first and last pic Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. With Lipo's the resistance changes (C rating reduces) when it's temperature drops. I notice it on my truggy and I know folk (inc me) that puts the next pack in their pocket to warm it slightly on a winters day. Now with a light it not going to be enough drain to have an affect
  16. Makes sense to me, and good to hear you got it replaced
  17. I prefer tool cabinets over boxes but my rollers are not mobile enough! So I have a DeWalt tool box for the field and this is what I think about it; 1 it's three waterproof boxes which clip onto a tool trolley 2 tools and parts are just thrown in when I much prefer draws with everything in its place and quickly becomes heavy 3 some smaller 'modules' within the main box which can contain screwdrivers, spanners, socket etc so when I want a screwdriver I can lift out the module by a handle and open it out with them all in their own little place. I do have tool rolls and small tool sets in there but it's not a good use of space. It wants someone to design a toolbox that can have say 6 individual Modules then I would select the right tool modules for the job in hand and leave the rest behind to save weight 4 until recently everyday at work in the workshop but now once a week (promotion at work and not done any RCing for two weeks) Hope that helps?
  18. Was given a box of used cells from work, they replaced every handheld scanner battery knowing that there was lots of good ones still in circulation. Otherwise I would have brought Li-Po. I use them in my nitro's, 5ive and Flysky TX
  19. Looking tough, my boys Hyper has the CNC parts and it has one extra piece. It's got an alu spacer between the rear chassis brace and the diff case, it stops the plastics from braking and the bolt bending
