  1. Lol. I'm gonna watch it on my PS3 with my 32" TV. Fourteen minutes to go .
  2. Oh sorted now fellas, please close. I ended up buying a Fujitsu Lifebook E8020 that needed an OS off ebay but had a genuine XP Pro COA, so I downloaded an OEM copy, installed it and it works perfect for timing. Lee.
  3. Anyone else gonna be watching this? Love Ashens and Warwick Davis and Robert Llewellyn and together, with other cast members they've made a film that's gonna be released on Youtube tonight at 7PM called Ashens And The Quest For The Gamechild. It looks epic and I cannot wait.
  4. Should do, depends on the engine mounts though. If it had a bumpstart engine in before, it may have had bumpstart mounts and they may need to be changed. If it had pullstart mounts though, then yes should be straight swap. Lee.

I'm into karting but I've never had a race, I just like to go and drive one and have some fun. If I ever get a kart, I'll be taking it to Karting North East. Pay

That's excellent to see that you may soon be a tattoo artist. More people who have talent like yours really need to do apprenticeships and become licensed in my opinion, that's a great piece of art there. Lee.

I enjoy cycling, karting and I'm JUST getting into slot car racing with computerized timing system. At the moment I have a Micro Scalextric with a reed switch hot glued beneath the circuit, this is hooked up to the parallel port on my laptop and every time a car runs over the reed switch, it counts the lap. I need another one for other lane at mo but it works. Soon I'll be getting a Ninco 1:32 scale set and using photodiodes lit with leds for timing, you put the photodiodes beaneath the circuit, looking through a hole you drill in the circuit then have the led light shining on them. When the beam of light is broken by a car passing over a photodiode, it counts a lap. Simple but I love it lol.
  8. Yeah agreed. I'd love to go to KNE and when I can drive I may actually have my own kart and store it there (only
  9. Yes I've been following the grave digger.
  10. Just stumbled across this on Youtube. I think it's bloody cool and I want one lol.

    Unbelievable

    You know there is a HUGE level of skill and concentration involved in flying like that. Justin has been flying since he was 3, and he takes part in competitions with some other awesome pilots. There's a reason that the likes of Tariq, Alan Szabo Jr and Bert Kammerer are highly regarded as some of the best pilots out there, because they can do things others can't. It's also not about "stopping the helicopter from crashing", that's not what they're doing. To do tricks like tic tocs and crack rolls and such takes very precise control and concentration, it's why most 3D pilots hold the sticks with their fingers and thumbs rather than just their thumbs and during competition, they need to execute those tricks as best as they possibly can.     How about a 10 year old doing 3D flight;
  14. About the only thing you need to upgrade on a CR are the servos, they are seriously tough buggies. Just get spare arms and other plasticy bits like the wing mount, them bits are usually first to go and look after it. As long as you do that, it will last you a long time. Lee.
  15. My Fujitsu Lifebook E8020 laptop. About to install windows after HDD has been formatted.... Lee.
  16. It's already pointless. Plus he puts his point across in his first post in a very frustrating manner. If he had taken the time to make the points with proper reasoning behind them, in a pleasant way then yes the thread would be suitable, but because the thread is titled "let's put an end to this" and he's basically thrown his toys out the pram just because he's frustrated that people keep discussing these things in my opinion the thread shouldn't have been started in the first place. Multiple threads on a similar subject honestly don't bother me, I'll either look at them or scroll right past them on the new content page.... Lee.
  17. FTI throwing his toys out the pram again I see.... A community board is opened for discussion, who cares if people keep asking threads about the same subject? I treat them all the same and give advice where I can, because this community is here to pass knowledge onto others who may be just starting out, aren't as experienced or just simply have a question about something, and to discuss the hobby as a whole, not to open threads detailing your frustration that people keep asking questions about largescales. If people aren't allowed to discuss a specific subject, what's the point of a community forum? Lee.

  19. Um, how much money do you bloody have?
  20. I bet your delivery men love you.....
  21. Two 25 pin Parallel connectors with solder lugs. I only needed one, but I thought I'd buy 2 then I have one as a spare. Just waiting for my Fujitsu Lifebook E8020 laptop now. All this is for Scalextric lap timing lol. I have reed switches, wire, hot glue gun and heatshrink and everything else I need, just waiting for my laptop now.... Lee.
  22. Lol we're lucky around here in Wakefield, it hardly floods at all.

  24. That's a rich mixture, dummy. Less oil and more petrol is a leaner mix. Lee.
