  1. These are all great suggestions! Thank you! The filters do create a lot of debate in the office with what is what. It's a good idea and one we've had before, but with the vast range of products, the similarities are far between. I will have a think, as it might be easy enough to implement anyway.
  2. Hey guys, For those who don't know I developed the latest Modelsport.co.uk website earlier this year and would love your feedback on how it can be improved further. This can be suggestions on features you like on other websites or just bits you don't get on with too well that you feel could be done better. My main focus from the previous website was to allow for better filtering with the checkbox filters and a much more mobile friendly interface. I'm really happy with the website but that doesn't mean I'm right! I look forward to your feedback to help me in future updates/fixes. www.modelsport.co.uk 😛
  3. Welcome! 😄 Good collection there!
  4. I've always bought Dremel branded stuff, then I got a knock-off one from Amazon for £30 with loads of bits and honestly... I couldn't really tell the difference. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GXBTDJ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My previous Dremels burned out but I think any of these kind of tools just do eventually.
  5. This is down to the supply/supplier more so than the retailer, though I'm not saying the UK suppliers are making an easy wedge, they also probably have loads more costs than US ever have to deal with. USA got it good.
  6. Anyone doing good buys out there in the RC world?
  7. So are R/C planes not under these laws then?

    Msuk playing up?

Where is the "New Posts" button/link you are clicking?
  9. A little more from MSUK-Forum goes out into the world, to FMA UK who help with supporting those suffering from Fibromyalgia (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/fibromyalgia/) Thank you @GMballistic for the recommendation, I've not heard of this condition and it sounds like FMA do a great job. That's a nice idea @a@Alex97 - I will have a think!

    Msuk playing up?

Sorry I only just saw this! Is it still a problem?

  14. Only on the 5th of every month so it's your lucky day!
  15. Ooooh tell me more about selling data I have a fair amount stored up here. (I'm joking!! 😛)

    Tax.

You should not get taxed for the whole amount. You will only be taxed on anything over £12,500, like Kpowell has said this is usually worked out by the firms accountants when you first start, it's possible they'll stick you on a temporary tax code until it is all formalised. To work for £13,000 would still be worth it, the tax you pay on that extra £500 is so small it'll still be beneficial I would of thought, unless they are demanding a lot more responsibility/hours from you. National Insurance is still charged on everything you earn, no escaping that one sadly.
  17. I have to ring this old bell again as we've had an established member take a payment with a bank transfer of over £200 and then not dispatch the goods, this user is now banned. The buyer has lost all of this money because there was no safety net. Please be mature and sensible and both agree on a payment method that gives both parties security, such as PayPal Goods (not gift/friends). This is more common than you would think. Don't lose big money over a few quid in fees!
  18. So who's going to be the bigger man and buy one?!
  19. Yeah you can upload pics via the forum like Ross has shown.
  20. I think this boils down to the price, it will have to undercut Traxxas and ARRMA to be desirable unless you're a HPI fanboy wanting some nostalgia. Disappointed really, imagine the hype this thread would get if HPI actually went back to the drawing board and launched a new MT. They missed out on a big comeback here.
  21. Awesome, thanks guys. QUESTIONS CLOSED. I'll post in the news when the interview is out! 🙂
  22. Bit slow with the news on this one which probably shows how eagerly excited we are on the new HPI Savage... They have been slowly revealing it on social media, with the latest being this: No other info yet but looks like TVPs are still a "feature".
