  1. hi guys, i need to do a proper coolant flush and wondering what is the best way in doing so? do i need to remove the thermostat? i have a drain tap that i can use but would it be better taking the lower radiator hose off? which of the lower hose do i remove?

so far i have been looking at local ones on autotrader, ebay and gumtree but they ar equite far away.

still undecided on what car to go for.

dont want to buy one and it breaks again straight away.

definitely garage this time, you get warranty with it.

i was hoping me and my mechanic would be wrong with the headgasket but so far all the evidence points to the headgasket 😞

from what i have read, if you have an internal coolant leak there are only 2 ways the coolant can go, either in the oil or down the chamber to the exhaust pipe. i am getting pressure from the cylinder as i think, there is a crack between the 2 of them in the head gasket.

yeah that air that is coming out is actually gas, i put my face to it when the bubbles came up and i smelt fuel.

the only way for me to drive is either without the cap or dont tighten the cap so pressure can get out.

i was hoping it was the thermostat but the water is leaking through the exhaust quite bad making me think its teh head gasket, also i can smell petrol when starting the car which means the fuel is going into the cylinder chamber.
