    Finally got the last bit of info needed to finalise the Ryan ramsay scam deal. Happy days joined the save owner group on Facebook with a pic proofing owner ship.  Fraud by deception and handling stolen goods coppers going for.

    Right guys need a bit of help here before i cut all plans and forget it. Looking to grab a few bits from hercules hobbys for the 1/14 trucks as may have a location for a truck meet in the midlands however i cannot find any details about them anywhere everywhere ive looked has just ended at dead ends or asiatees however these wont tell me a thing either. It wont be for profit however it will help cover my costs of renting the hall etc basically trying to do a good thing for once to get more interest into this hobby. A location will not be given till ive got everything together including a few companys to supply a few bits. Its not a definate yes or no however it will be a central location somewhere as ive seen a fair few truck meets up north just bugger all aound here. Any help would be appreciated.

    If everywhere carrys on ripping the bigger companys of and selling half the price the bigger companys wont be theyre to upgrade parts to. E.g diff gears etc as theyll have no profit as km and likes will have it banggood etc do the same rip a car off cheapen it and use sub standard materials where they can. So in effect they gain either way as youll be constantly replacing theyre sub standard parts for more substandard parts etc. Not saying this will happen anytime soon but it will happen eventually. Bigger companys will be at up by clones.

    Chaps im wanting a vc slu for the 1/14 been looking for months now and cant find anything these were originally purchased via taobao but nought. Does anyone know where i can get 1 or a v8 truck sound ?

      Traxxas sound unit has a v8 sound I'm sure it's that one. It has two settings one a v8 the other something else. 

      If dollar hobbies or JRC have them could be the cheapest option too. I might get one for my kkids scx10 but not sure as I like to be inconspicuous when playing with my toys lol. I get heckled enough.  Even tho ther flatout too but on drink and ....s lol.

      Very dependant on spec and condition but anywhere between £150-300.....

      I paid £130 for mine with upgrades. Wheels, cvds , carbon servo mount, lift kit I think. And alloy skid. 

      It came without a body tho obviously no electrics and it came from a friend off here so he probably gave me a good price. Best 250 build iI've done for sure.

    Turnigy mate. I've used nanotech and they puffed after 10. However my turnigy still going strong after 80+ charges.

    Gaz I believe the scx10 diff fit. I've got a couple of crown and pinions for an scx10 should you want em.
