Parrot and another Baja!

I ordered one for just under 300 last week!

Hey all Embarrisingly (as I have so many of the bloody things) I can’t find my notes sheet so don’t recall the size of the drive shaft pins (machine pins/dowels) for both the four wheel drive pins and also centre drive shaft. I also need some of the bolts that hold the carb and air filter to the isolator.. please can someone assist with my embarrassment, hopefully with a couple of eBay links if possible! yours thankfully!

Check what carb you have? Sounds very like an accelerator carb (819) as they can be VERY fickle to set up. If it’s 668 or 990 and I would check there are no blockages on the needles...I’m assuming as you replaced gaskets you did a quick clean of the carb when you did that?

Full time! You also missed out the ‘old’ in grumpy (old) person!

Grind the end off one set of inserts and you can adjust the mesh as you see fit!

I try and persuade my customers to spend vast sums of money with the company I work. I fail miserably most of the time!
