Yes but the skid plates on the HCG version are the same height as on the LCG version so would bottom out the same in theory. Also the HCG can high center easy and in that situation the LCG would slide over it like a sledge. Furthurmore the LCG can be raised so it is higher than the skids on the original and still giving tonnes better handling
Thats ok then I wont be going in deep snow just ice and my kyosho shell is generally good at keeping out dirt and water just the massive air cut outs...

I currently have this: http://uk.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2915#ov and as I am getting into pc gaming more I need to upgrade. Ill update later with some specs. I dont mind Amd or Nvidia as long as it can support next gen games on low-mid settings.
Will a 120a orion vortex 8 (rebranded sc8) be able to push a turnigy tracckstar 2650 kv 6 pole motor ok as the motor is 129a max. At the moment I have the punch setting at 5.
Thanks.
Im 14 and if he is a begginner dont get a f1/pan car. 1/12 scale pan cars require really fast reactions as I learn't the hard way. Many top level rc racers train with pan cars to work on their reaction times etc. They are difficult to drive. I tried one from my LHS and thay are just too fast and agile for me.
Prehaps if he wants a on road ask him if he wants a rally/ touring car/ drifter. All of thes could be made from a tamiya TT01 and with a cheap 35 or 60a ezrun combo can be made to go really quick. Loaads of people have TT01's and the parts/aftermarket support is good.
Hope this helps
What go you guys do about surface rust on driveshafts, outdrives etc. Do you paint over it, sand it down, rust treatment, leave it or buy new bits. I just hate it and i do accept things like this will happen but what do you do about it?
