  1. I got moaned at when I said I might sell someone my summit , as they asked if anyone had one for sale & i didn't post pics.I didn't post it in the for sale section . I was just replying to someone... .

    2.5mm socket.

    Cheers mate. I'll have a look .
  3. You'll have to post some pics mate. The mods don't like it when you don't post pics
  4. As above. Check the screws are tight , & get the alu motor mount. It's only about 6 quid

    2.5mm socket.

Cheers mate . The screws actually have a hex shape you'd use a tiny spanner on. They're a bit scuffed up. If I can get the beadlocks off I can wet sand em to get an all shiny. Thatd give em more sale appeal. I've tried posting pics on here in various ways, photo bucket, picture shed or wherever. But it just don't work. I'd put em up for sale here, but can't due to the above. They're rc4wd. About 100 quid a set new.
  6. Are you stripping the spur gear? . I've got the aluminium motor mount. Much stronger. Some reinforcing at the rear & just behind the rear shocks helps too. Have a look at the "ftx outlaw "page on Facebook.

    2.5mm socket.

They're 2.5mm hex headed bolts. I've never seen an so small. I ain't gonna bother now anyway. They're no use to me. I was gonna put em on my ftx outlaw, but they're sc wheels. Crawler tyres won't fit. Back in the shed for them . I can't see anyone wanting to buy alu sc wheels.
  8. Took the outlaw out last night. Little in launched it 25 foot off the floor down the hill into a load of leaves. Only slightly buckled a wheel . I drove it up some sheep trails people would have trouble getting up. Good stuff
  9. Had a Google for the socket, only saw ones in a full set. There's no good model shops within an hour of me . I thought the wheels were no good for me. I swapped em for some mt tyres & wheels ages ago. Was gonna use em on the ftx viper. But that shattered one time too many & is rotting in the shed now. Ta for the info though .
  10. Anyone know where I could buy a 2.5mm socket to get my beadlocks apart . Also the wheels inner diameter is 80mm & the outer diameter is 60mm. I wanna fit the ftx outlaw tyres as one wheels badly buckled & the beadlocks are aluminium. Any chance I could do It? Ta

Anyone know where I could buy a 2.5mm socket to get my beadlocks apart ? Ta
  12. A floodlights in the shed pointing directly at the door. It blinds the chavs/pikeys. It stopped some chavs nicking my mtb. It also lights up the garden.
  13. I was gonna suggest that. The front end's same. It might impede crawling though
  14. There are literally bubbles in the plastic of my ftx viper. Awful argos grade buggy. But the outlaw's crashed at full pelt & not failed. Only a bent shock shaft & snapped body post so far . They should have a word with qc
  15. Both trucks I've had/ got with the bottom door have the door jam when used off rd. Why go the toy grade way? It takes 30 seconds to pull 4 R clips , get the body off & plug the battery in. Epic fail. As the kids say.
  16. Not rc. But really helps for it. I got 100 magnesium supplements. They do wonders for my arthritis
  17. Same here. Ftx vary massively in quality. My viper shattered if you farted in its direction. But the outlaw's had some top speed crashes without breaking.
  18. I must have been lucky. I pull wheelies & rolling stoppies with mine. I don't do speed runs though. These ain't built for doing 30 mph for a long time.
  19. I've been running mine on 2s for & brushless for a while. Not stripped a spur yet
  20. Have you got an appropriate sized drill bit that you can dremel the rear end off to make a right lengths pin? I've done that for hex pins. Worked a treat
  21. Where did you get an adjustable motor mount?
  22. It's part #ftx6233. Modelsport & wheelspin normally carry good stock. If they ain't got one, you could try cml distribution. You can't set the mesh on the outlaw. The motor plate's non adjustable. I ain't got a clue why it's made that way
  23. Have you lost the pin that stops the spur spinning? Or is the centre of the spur stripped ?
  24. Have a read of the Lipo guide on here. They're pretty safe. I beat the crap out of my trucks,I've never had one go poof. Hobbykings' the place to go for lipos. Good quality low prices. Hardcase ain't much more expensive than softies. Hobbyking also do balancer/chargers at a good price too.
