Think it's time for some good luck! In the space of a week I've had my hours cut in work, my work van got written off and got a puncture in my car 180 miles from home with no spare wheel!!

When your wife asks for a handrail on the hallway stairs. No problem says I.
Nice mop handle and chrome brackets delivered. Simples says I. Last bracket BANG !!! Who lies cables inside an outside wall. Main RCD popped. Guess who drilled through the main cable from the consumer unit feeding g the upstairs socket. No prizes for guessing who needs a leccy. Just had the wall plastered and full redec.

Anyone recommend a good way to preserve metal parts from tarnishing? Polishing up an old RC car for shelf purposes. Not sure what the metal is but it seems similar to sand scorcher metal.

I kind of get why you have locked 6ft4crawler thread, But I feel that sometimes threads like this need to run a course, It may not directly have anything to do with the forum, But threads go off in different tangents, Ideas can be offered up, Ideas that can be of help to a forum going forward.
I spent time writing a reply to Nitroholic which may or may not of helped to the forum going forward, But I now feel I have just wasted my time, And why bother.
There's no doubt there are some young ones here, But there are many adults as well that can have grown up debates.
Nothing personal, But locked threads rub me right up the wrong way, Especially when I'm midway through a grown up thought provoking reply.

I did the same. Advice for the buyer from personal experience. Just as I was about to submit, A.J smashed his red button. Mods decision is final though bud. Kinda just how it is. I was reading some of the other forum rants. Although personal they also become abusive. Mods lock it down before it goes down that route. We may not agree, but we must understand. ?

Trust me bid, the only ones worth buying are the Portable Power ones. Yes they are expensive but after being in the trade for 25 years and watching bosses buying them every 6 months due to not buying a decent one, I have had a portable power one for years now. They are the ones snap on used to rebaege. The new ones that snap on use aren't portable power and are getting poor reviews. Its worth the extra.

So after 3 weeks building a custom body on a 1:1 recovery truck for a customer it was delivered today. Just had a call it's been written off on its first job. Wounded is not the word.

Oh yes. I have sent a few text messages as we exchanged numbers but since PayPal transfer he has gone quiet. He initially asked me to pay f+f which I declined. It has been raised as a not described with full info and pics for back up. What annoys me is that the parts missing are in the description and the shock bottom seal cap is in the pics. So somewhere between pics and packaging it's been taken apart and put back together badly. It's was given such hype as being 1 of the best summits in the UK and no expense spared. This is why you always pay goods guys. Any newbies reading this LEARN why we oldies always insist to pay goods. At least you have your butt covered.

I got bit before on here when I first started out again with RC. I bought an emaxx which had a duff radio system, snapped parts and non working motors. Then the kid had enough attitude to leave me poor feedback on here and accuse me if breaking everything and running it into the ground. I couldn't run it as the radio system was shot. I didn't pp claim then as I felt sorry for the kid and he was 17 if I remember right. His attitude taught me a lesson not to roll over and accept it. This guy is getting both barrells. I just want what I paid for.

Also goes by the name of unrootedrc on YouTube. Text messages dried up instantly as soon as payment made. Questions went unanswered about expected delivery times and hasn't replied since about damages / missing parts. I opened a PayPal case and that has been ignored too. I have requested a partial refund of £100 towards rectifying the issues / missing bits or a return and full refund. I will give it another 24 hrs and escalate it.

Thanks for the reply AJ. This is what I am trying to work out. The item wasnt purchased via the forum but I did use PayPal goods and a claim is underway. It's a 1/10 summit that has arrived with stripped threads in the chassis, screws snapped into the aluminium rear bulks, badly worn rear shafts, body shell missing that was in the advert, shock with bottom cap missing so the seal I running up and down the shaft pouring out oil..... Need I go on....lol.

Hi can some guys who know the hobbywing 2in1 box well. Read my ebay ad and let me know what you think is most likly please.
The box is dead?
Or the box is just not for my sc8wp esc?
I listed it for 5er as faulty but what if its not. But now its gone to silly money. Either a bidder knows better or knows nothing and will try to sting me. But its sold as faulty. But i still cant sell it for that much possibly faulty.
Last night i tried the new programmer a pitt card type and couldn't even get that to power up.
I brought the 2in1 as working from here a known member. But by the time i used it and got nowhere i forgot who sold it to me.
Could this be a sensord combo 2in1 thats my best guess. Cos of the wire that looks like a sensor wire.
I can't sell it for near new price mayb getting trolled. Ill see if its a 0 account lol.

Would anyone want to swap a yeti XL roller for a 1/10 summit?

Summer holidays, week leading up to August Bank Holiday + West Cornwall = no off-road bashing spots to use because they’re all full of tourists, and/or their cars!
Dammit! Especially frustrating when i’m wanting to get a running video shot of the ET410 that’s not around a track, must have spent an hour looking round my usual spots but gave up in the end ?

I started to get really nervous on the drive home when the woman behind me repeatedly kept looking down to her phone. Is it really THAT nessasary?
-
I do about 1,000 miles a week and it goes on all the time. Usually youngsters who are keeping it on their lap sonit looks like both hands are on the wheel. The amount of times I have been stuck at 45mph in the middle lane As i can't overtake due to weight and don't want to go under them. I eventually get past ...... Low and behold, they are too busy with their phone and haven't realised they have dropped speed. It REALLY grips my brown stuff.
