when you say connecting directly to the router was that a wired connection or still by wifi just without the repeater. I am thinking it might be the wireless equipment in the computer that is causing the bottleneck rather than the mains link into the shed

thats normal. the viscosity of the diff oil adjusts the amount of slip in the diff, but one of the wheels on the floor and the other off will allow transfere of power to the wheel that has no pressure on it.

had lots of dealings with them including customer service for faulty items, always been happy and satisfied with the experience. Items from china usually arrive in about 10 days, uk warehouse took longer as i think they operated as a drop ship agent for the item i purchased, since the postage charges are free or very cheap from china i just use the china warehouse.

you sure they only have 2 orange led as opposed to 2 pairs of orange led. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__19817__Hobbyking_Scale_Car_LED_Light_system.html for example says 2 orange led but when you look of the vid with the led on a piece of paper there are clearly 2 pairs.

the problem with the revo as a rolling chassis is the 2 speed automatic gearbox with reverse. you would want forward only conversion and lock it into second gear. The rest of the drive train is fine as its the same strength as the erevo brushless. Might want to consider getting the revo roller and then getting erevo chassis and gearbox/motor mount. the front and rear bulkheads and arms,wheels etc should just bolt on.

There need to be a very slight play there as you are feeling the mesh between the output shaft bevel gear and the diff ring gear. Bit like you need a very slight play between spur and pinion.

one of my nephews had one years ago and the biggest problem is the loss of lift when the drive motors are used meaning it doesnt give you much of a run time. i would think some sort of lipo conversion to get lighter more powerful batteries, cant remember the voltage they run at, lipo with low voltage buzzer kind of thing.

sounds like lipo cut out is activating then coming back. usually you get a period of half power then full stop then it can sometimes reset to full power.

they have the capacitors on from new. i.e. they come with the esc so you shouldn't need to buy any.
