hi guys hope your all well, havnt been on here in a while but could do with a nitro truck identification if possible as cant find my camera so will be descriptive...here goes, last year i purchased what i was told was a schumacher raptor and i have just bought another for spares and here is the problem, the recent purchase is a definate 100% raptor but the previous truck im now not sure, its the same size and dwarfs my savvy but instead of the square fuel tank it has a longer side offset tank, the engine sits dead centre of the chassis with the clutch bell nder the centre of the spur gear, the width of the chassis is around an inch less than the raptor, carry handle is shorter and single bar instead of double and the front and rear bumpers are small and rounded with laurels on them....if anyone can give me some idea if this is an early raptor, a foreign import or what it might be so i can look it up i would be very thankful....if you need to know more about whats on it then please ask and i will gladly tell as would be nice to know what it is...once again sorry for the lack of pics,, look forward to your replies and in the mean time i better grab my gun and go hunting digi cams lol

looks like an hsp bazooka would have said the hsp tyrannosaur but they have a purple chassis or something along them lines, should be 1/10th scale

i didnt know carl but have read alot of threads in which he had provided really usefull info to people.. he sounded like a really genuine person and all i can do is offer my condolences to his wife, family and friends. R.I.P MR T

sounds like its running to rich, if its new then if you have the the factory carb settings return the carb to them and start tuning from there, if you havnt got them then look them up on here

not sure on the model but just from the fuel tank i would say its a schumacher

could be interferance on the radio system especially if you have had thunder storms about near you as the atmospheric conditions could be messing up the signals

when this engine dies the picco will be installed next but next on the agenda for it is the servo mounts either alloy or stainless, then going to do the gearbox casing and the battery box and receiver then it will be the drive shafts and hubs..well thats the plan anyway..shell wise im looking at getting the axial rat rod shell for it
