isn't a bearing :s doesnt turn as its threaded on and only turns with the thread when the starter is pulled the buggy seems okay, just the dodgy engine that is horrible quality!! Will deffo try and get a refund but doubt nitrotek will let me have one!! here's a picture of the thing behind the flywheel:

get about 5 or 6 little minnows, about 30p each and look great!! just make sure they're big enough so they dont get ate by your bigger fish.

one of the clutch shoes is bent and the other is okay so i tested that on both mounts on the flywheel and the flywheel seems okay.

thanks for the info and also would it happen because i had set the gearing wrong? or a manufacturer fault? only asking as it's basically a new engine (ran 1 tank through it!!!!) and was hoping for a manufacturer warranty replacement

Well look what happened to my car, think it's the clutch but an a newbie so am just guessing. Its an acme condor self build. Where can i get the replacement parts cheap? WD40 for the seized parts as it isnt bad for your engine because you can use it insead of after run oil.

Hi, Finally got my condor to start up since i changed some of its settings. BUT it cuts out between 5 and 15 secs everytime or when i pull the glow ignitor out. and theres a lot of fuel coming from the exhaust, is this rich? or lean. And to make it run properly which needle needs adjusting and which way? Also its a new car. Thanks, Andy

I knew it wasnt the best when i bought it, got it in a self build kit so i know the basic workings and make me more confident with repairs. Planning on getting a spares or repairs hyper 7 from ebay(or something else with a lot of spares available) and making it run any suggestions welcome. But surely the car has to actually work atleast once, trading standards an all that, fit for purpose.
