  9. PLEASE NOTE THE TRUCK HAS NOW BEEN SOLD. MODERATOR CAN YOU PLEASE CLOSE THE LISTING
  10. Hi all I am looking to sell my Team Associated SC10 truck. I bought it brand new 2 months ago from a RC shop in Herts and with the 2 batteries it cost well over £300.00. However in that time period I have used it 3 times so its up for sale. Its basically brand new and in good condition. It comes with the 2.4ghz radio gear, 2 x Core RC 4200 MAH batteries (Dean Connectors) and 8 x AA 2850mAh rechargable batteries for the transmitter. I also have the box, tools and instructions. The truck has been left standard out of the box, so you will get the Reedy 3300KV Brushless Motor / ESC system. Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure: Please note - You will need to purchase the relevant chargers for this truck. The speed controller & 2 Nimh batteries comes fitted with Deans connectors. Price is £150.00 + £10.00 for delivery within mainland UK (via Parcelforce 48 hour service). I am not interested in part exchanging with other RC cars . This truck is up for sale elsewhere so when its gone, its gone...................... Cheers George
  11. I'd also like to give this guy the credit he deserves as he's absolutely FANTASTIC at polishing and porting these engines. I bought a polished HPI T15 engine for a Rush Evo off B-Master a couple of months ago and its amazing! Certainly much better performance than you get from the engine as standard, B-Master I have an old T15 engine to send you, its in need of some major care and attention Cheers George
  12. Talking of Nitrotek and going off subject (ie nitro) slightly, has anyone had a look at the latest 2.4ghz 1/5th petrol car they're selling for
  13. I'm selling a very similar 6.0v receiver pack on Ebay right now! I used it literally a handful of times in my Thunder Tiger EB4 S3........ http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MESELX:IT
  14. Hello pal I used to own a Thunder Tiger Hammer S18 truck which came with the pro 18bx engine. From memory I used a couple of litres of Model Technics Big Bang 20% through it and experienced no problems whatsoever To be honest most model shops will try and create horror stories to make you purchase their products, just make sure that you use fresh fuel as I believe that can make a difference. More importantly do not run the engine with lean settings. I guarantee that will do your engine far more damage if you lean out the high & low speed needles too much. Cheers George

Ok what about these for a couple of different options? http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item20bb0a39cb http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item4157e69555 I had a Thunder Tiger EB4 S3 and its a great buggy, its well made and really shifts with its .28 engine Either one of these 2 will make a good purchase if a monster truck floats your boat. Have to say you get a lot more ground clearance with one of these bad boys, long grass...... meh its not a problem http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item27bc8a1d81 http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item5ae18d1ae0 I have an MA4 and its a great truck, pretty much undistructible. Anyway something to consider if you wanna bash the bejesus out of it
  16. I know its not exactly a buggy but how does this take your fancy? http://www.modelspor...-products/39705 With regards to buying a 2nd hand nitro car off Ebay unless you can see the car running before purchase I would really think twice about it. From personal experience not everyone on Ebay is exactly honest with their description, I got caught with a dodgy Rush Evo a while back and it cost me money to get the engine running again
  17. Hi guys Am debating about purchasing a new monster truck in the next few months. I absolutely adore my MTA4 which I've owned for nearly for 2 years now but I just fancy something a little larger & faster. I've come up with 2 options, the LST XXL or the Savage XL. I just cant make my mind up which one is better. I suppose speed and acceleration are major factors so I would have thought the Savage XL has the edge, however for handling I'm not so sure Also what about replacement parts costs, is there a difference? Any advice would be welcome Cheers George

I agree with what R46 is saying, Acme seems to have a really bad reputation for cheap but unreliable products. I've also heard that spare parts are tricky to get hold of. In all honesty you could spend about the same / a little more and purchase something of much better quality. Here are a couple of examples: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HPI-Firestorm-10t-excellent-condition-/130538330028?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item1e64b0d7ac http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/THUNDER-TIGER-TOMAHAWK-ST-NITRO-CAR-/110709758867?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item19c6d0db93
  21. Ok guys wanna ask a question, I was in a model shop in Dunstable earlier this week and the shop owner was telling me that HPI power fuel contains almost twice the oil percentage compared to Optifuel. Apparently the ammount of pistons + liners he has had to replace because of Optifuel is staggering. I was a little surprised as I was of the opinion that they were basically the same fuel under different labels. As I run my MTA4 on Optifuel it did slightly unnerve me though. Anyone else heard this before?
