Maybe it's the fact that, like I said, I don't have the time or the place to work on something this big at the moment. It's not always as simple as just learning and fixing. I'm a student currently, so for the majority of the time the truck is in a different part of the country, it's just not feasible to have it with me at university. I'm just looking for something that will work whenever I can use it, and this normally comes back to electric. This is besides the point anyway, thanks to everyone who helped it was just what I was after! Cheers

Cheers man, pretty much what i'm in need of. Gonna look into a little more. Bez even resides close to me I think so will definitely have a look. Yeah, need to look at it more but it just started smoking when the battery was connected so not great.

It's been a while since i've been on here, haven't been able to continue my hobby as much as i would have wanted meaning I now have a Losi XXL truck which I bought new 3 years ago or so. I'm looking to get rid of it for a few reasons but it all boils down to a few points. 1. I don't have the resources anymore to charge the receiver battery, no fuel and not really the time it would take. 2. There is a stripped hex screw head on the bottom of the car restricting access to the engine, once again something I can't do much about. 3. It is a non runner atm, I have had it running before and used it slightly, but as far as i remembered never bashed properly or any more than a few laps of a field. I really have no idea where to start with this. Along with my e-firestorm's speed controller going up in smoke I just want something I will be able to actually drive. I've tried taking it to a local shop but they were useless. Currently, i'm thinking my best bet is stick it on a website and just seeing how much i can get for it because I honestly have no idea. It came with a DX3s transmitter and receiver system, is that on its own is worth a bit with the integrated telemetry? Would it be unreasonable to see if I could swap it for a short course truck or buggy? Is there still value in it? Any help is appreciated, cheers! I had this up about a month or two ago but didn't do much about it. I haven't looked at the problem as I had another car that worked and I wanted to drive. If you buy this you are buying it on the understanding that I do not know how much work is needed to get it running properly. Could be expensive or could be a complete take down and assembly, I simply have no idea! Also, more information is involved in the older thread so make sure you read it please. The following is what I would consider swapping or selling for: Sort course truck, ready to run. If it can fit a 5000 mah hardcase 2s battery I will be EXTREMELY interested. Other Monster trucks Buggys Money, not too sure but please offer, just nothing ridiculous considering all the individual parts Thanks

Had a bit of interest but would like to slightly define what I would want to swap/ part exchange with cash: Any savage as long as it is roughly the same price bracket which I am assuming between 200 and 300 but am not %100 sure. Maybe other reliable monster trucks. Any truggy's, once again please take account of the value. Short course trucks Thanks

I have an appraisal for this in the forum but this is just to see what people will offer. Up for sale is a Losi XXL. I do not know the problem and can't test it just yet as I am busy. The very worst is that the engine won't start. Included with it is a Grave digger body, partially cut out and with decals waiting to be placed. The current body has a few bit cut out to allow the turn starter to work with the body on and a bit at the back cut out for the spoiler that I have on it. The pull starter is broken and I had another one to replace it but it broke straight away as well. The turn starter is what I use and it works fine for me. This has the spektrum receiver and is in a good general condition as I haven't used it much. I will find out more about this if anyone is interested just a bit busy today. Looking to swap for a any nitro car that will be guaranteed to work almost every single time I use it. Cheers

So, I have this Losi LSt xxl with a few added bits such as a Grave digger body, partially cut out and hav the decals for it and a spoiler on the back (had to cut a small bit of the current body). I've had it for a year or two and it has always caused me problems. I have had it running well a few times but never for long periods of time. When it was running it was very fast and very fun but I am just sick and tired of it not working when I want to use it. I don't know the current problem but assuming I can't start it at all what do people think it is worth? It is in a good condition as I haven't really used it much. I would love to just swap it for something like a Savage or a similar type that I know will just work everytime. Cheers for any help
