As you say a Trump win could be great news for the £ if that was coupled with Angela Merkel coming a cropper in the upcoming German elections we could really be back in clover

Cleaned up the blitz and the Carisma M40DT, then found an unopened Tamiya M-05 mini, bought this a couple of years ago, Margaret my wife wanted it, I wanted the Blitz so of course she had to have it, I just have never got round to building it. Having just ordered the M-05 Pro 2R I think I had better build it before I start on the new one

I have been thinking about buying a Tamiya M-05 ver 2 R and having looked at costs in the UK, Europe & USA, I decided to buy today from a UK supplier (Modelsport) now. Their in store (& online) price was cheaper than those I found in both Europe & USA. and Asia for that matter. I was never really thinking of buying from anywhere else but UK on this occasion. I bring this up because the above situation makes me think we could soon see more price increases in the UK for RC related items as our model shops restock. I fear our hobby is going to become even more expensive.

Looking at F1 maybe xray but not many places available to run it, can run at work as long as no one finds out and would be by myself, a real billy no mates

I fancy getting into F1 maybe with an xray X1, maybe a winter project, ready for the spring. There doesn't seem to be a great appetite for F1 on the forum so time for some digging on google to see what the RC F1 scene is like in the UK Hopefully I will comeback with a thread & move forward On to the research then

I would always recommend backing your main colour, at the very least it will offer some protection to the coat you see from the outside of the shell. I usually use white or silver as the backing on light or metallic colours, or black on a dark colour. The white or silver will help with the wow factor of the brighter colours, the black on a dark colour will dull the effect a little.
