  1. Awesome justification: "Question: why do you sell so cheap? Answer:If we change high the price, buys the human are few, therefore we of little profit sell!"
  2. I didnt see slipper clutch (lack of research) that could well be the culprit.
  3. You could convert it to quad brakes but tbh, if it's that bad on dual, adding another set won't help until the real problem is sorted.
  4. Hmm, "they can't be stopped". When you're talking about a new AI weapon, thats more than worrying!
  5. I predict at least one Hyper 7 gets converted to electric in 2018. What do I win??
  6. Would you split the sand paddles and shell from the buggy? If so, PM how much delivered.
  7. No sorry that was just an example, you will need a tx as well, I believe they have some sort of digi handshake setup. Not sure about the camera though. You'll get a superb signal with 5 antenna 3ft away!
  8. Yeah that's what it comes down to, the transmission method. 5.8 will handle plenty of data, just like a wifi router but I don't know if there's a limitation on distance or if it's just a licence thing. I presume the cheaper one's you've been seeing claiming to transmit 1080 HD will do it but I don't know how well. This is the stuff recently launched for FPV: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/rosight-system-r-fcc.html?___store=en_us https://hobbyking.com/en_us/ion-system-t-r-camer-fcc.html?___store=en_us I didn't look into it as it was 100's of £'s for just the basic kit. If I'd have seen it reduced to what HK are selling it for now, I might have given it a go. Saying that, I don't know how well it works or the reception it has received so far. I don't think it's had mass market take up, most of us are still making do with 700tvl analogue images. As I say, the action camera I have records excellent 1080 video internally but the stuff recorded on the vrx is not that nice to watch back!
  9. Nice videos. I liked the multiple aircraft in the first one. Is that a bix playing follow the leader?
  10. CF rear hubs?? Got no need for cnc hubs for the on-road, weight is the enemy!!
  11. The problem with standard analogue transmission setups is the bandwidth. Traditionally compressing a HD signal small enough to send it over analogue equipment caused quite bad lag and quality loss so not great for fpv. If you're sending/receiving across analogue kit, you'll need to convert the signal back to HD and I have no experience of that, if it is indeed possible. All of my stuff is analogue, even the 1080 action cam outputs to analogue via mini usb. I would be surprised if you could get a true 1080 signal going HD>analogue>HD but I don't know. The only way I know is to use the Connex stuff but tbh, I haven't looked into it recently.
  12. No worries, I'm reasonably well sorted for cnc bits but the on-road can always handle more CF.
  13. HPI fuel used to be the same as Optifuel and that was always known to be very smokey. Having used Optifuel quite a lot in the past, you can't tune by smoke. You might be at the best state of tune but the smoke convinces you otherwise. You think you need to lean out but actually it's at the sweet spot. Easiest option is switch to byrons. You won't notice a massive difference but it will be less smokey and will give a tiny boost.

I like the photoshopping of the black & grey. Clearly the modelling was done on the cheap. Maybe I was looking a bit too closely..........
  15. I'll take it. PM me the details and I'll send you some virtual pounds.
  16. What system are you using, ie. vtx? Unless you're going for the new digital HD kit, no point getting a 1080 monitor. Analogue video just isn't good enough quality. The difference between what my action cam captures v's the dvr on the vrx is night and day.
  17. Let me know when you've sorted them, I'm always after H7 bits, especially carbon funkery.
  18. Balance paid on a new warm hatch ready to collect tomorrow. 25% off retail for being 2nd owner. Only 21 miles on the clock and 9 of those I put on during the test drive. Just need to check if i can remap without Kia finding out........:whistling:

Nice  it's just a dream for me at the moment to have a kia seed GT  :crying:

First time I've been the first owner on a car. Normally shy away due to the depreciation.

The 7yr warranty was a huge part of it (not that I'm getting old) and already I'm looking at mapping it so it's not embarrassed by Focus ST's...............

Yes they will be able to see if a remap has been performed.

If they chose to, they could immediately void your engine and gearbox warranty, at their discretion

  19. Tricky one. If you think it will help, then setup would make sense. Anything else he'll probably spot it, no matter how sneaky you try and be. You might need to repeat at intervals.............
  20. It does look mint, nice work on finally sorting the magic bits in the pedals.
  21. Love it! Do a few more and you have a mobile race business. Imagine running 6 or 8 at an indoor kart track, all fpv.....
  22. That old chestnut eh If I had a pound for..... I always check the diffs spin the right way using the dogbones. Have them facing each other with a dogbone between and spin them to check the outdrives spin the same way.
  23. Who cares..... Only joking, that is interesting, I have few little toy grade quads and wondered if I could just lift the camera out and wire direct to my vtxs. Might rethink that now.
