I have contacted them and waiting for their reply.. Parcelforce brought these and all my other batteries.. Just preparing in case it all gets a nightmare returning stuff etc...

All my esc's can run 3s ok.. The 2200 batteries are 25c discharge. My largest esc I have is 80 amp, so the batteries in parallel should provide enough for the esc when needed. I saw a calculation somewhere which said if the amp of pack x c rating is more than the esc amp that will be ok, as the battery will be able to provide the amps needed when asked by the Esc.... Unless I've made that last bit up...,,,,!!!! Thanks for the advice

Hi, got a battery delivered today.. Ordered x2 5000 mah 2s lipo, but they sent 4 2200mah 3s lipo.. Instead! . Can I run 2 of the 2200 in parallel in my sct? Am I right in thinking i would have. 4400 mah 3s if I did? Also would there be much difference in runtime form the 2s 5000 mah?? Can't be bothered messing about sending back to hobbyking if there's a work around.. ! Thanks in advance...

Mines built but not run yet!! I bought a box full of spares from the global warehouse, cheap as chips and only took 10-12 days to arrive, so should be good for a while. For the price I think it's ok.

I've often wondered if a commercial bashing area, indoor maybe, would be viable. You turn up and pay to use the facility, bit like a skate park. Could have a crawler area, carpet area, etc. Probably not otherwise I'm sure one would exist!

Calibrated my etronix sbs combo in my newly built Turnigy SCT and gave it a quick test.... Nothing fell off so all good!!

Never even thought of that!!!! I had to do that a few years ago with an HPI MT2.. I have got a reverse for all 3 channels, so ill try that with the throttle channel tomorrow.

Hi, new to electric and this is the first time I have calibrated an esc. Went through the initial steps following the instructions. Beeped to say its ready and armed, but the throttle and brake functions are reversed. The instructions say if the motor runs in reverse then swap 2 of the motor wires round. This works, but the wheels turn noticeably slower forward than in reverse with the wires swapped. Have I calibrated it wrong do you think? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.. Thanks.

I could never control a car with a stick transmitter, don't seem to have the coordination, which could prove expensive in repairs..!! Wheel transmitters feel more like real "driving" to me..

I found the same with my diff.. And the same with the screws, loads missing. I did enjoy building mine, went together quite well. Just waiting for paint now.

Hi, got some lipos delivered but won't get them in a car til Christmas time.. Will they be ok or should they be run ASAP so they aren't stored charged? Each battery is at about 7.2v on a multi meter. Cheers

Usually us the polycarbonite spray, but want to paint a shell with my nephew this afternoon and cant get any. Can I use acrylic paint on the inside of a shell? Thanks in advance. Rich.
