  1. Any bad solder connections on the esc or battery leads?
  2. My only used purchases have been off the same bloke on here... One nearly new, one brand new just built up. Too many ads say great condition, no problems, only to be told when you ask that x and y don't work, but it's in good condition...! Though that SCT you bought looked fine, just assembled wrongly! Buying budget brands or used allows me to be greedy and have more than one.. I just treat them a bit more carefully..
  3. It's maybe a separate issue.. But what do we "expect" rc cars to survive? Do we expect them to survive too much stick? After all they are mostly plastic and small machine screws travelling at real car speed sometimes.!
  4. Putting it in perspective, the 2wd sct is
  5. Shock towers? Front and rear are in stock now and so is the rear alloy upgrade.
  6. My turnigy sct parts arrived within 14 days from hobbyking. Most of the spares are a quid or two. Got a box full for about
  7. Storage charging my lipos takes forever as well. Max it will allow me to storage charge at is 1amp, but when started falls to 0.1 or 0.2 straight away.. Seems to be the norm. I just get on with cleaning while it's charging.
  8. No worries.. Don't forget to storage charge it when you've finished flying today.
  9. Not sure as I always manually select my charge rates and type of charge ie. lipo balance, storage etc. just in case the charger malfunctions!! If you manually choose your options too it helps you get familiar with all your chargers functions and menu. Have a good flight when it's charged..
  10. It's fine. My 2s 7.4v batteries charge up to 8.4 v. I forget why, it's explained in the lipo guides I have read. That figure will get higher as the battery gets more charge. Expect the charge rate to fluctuate and drop towards the end too as the charger balances each cell and tops them up more slowly.
  11. No, I have to press and hold the start/ enter button in mine, as I imagine you will. It will most likely sound an alarm when fully charged.
  12. Your screen is set fine for that battery. Connect the balance plug to the board in the appropriate slot and then connect the battery and start the charge.
  13. Great car only run once. I dont have anywhere to run this really so would sooner sell than ruin it for the same of it. A couple of scuffs on each corner and the front arches. In good condition really. This comes with a turnigy trackstar 4 pole 6100kv motor and 18amp speed controller. Only had half a pack through it. Doesn't come with an rx. Asking
