Got an obr full mod with lauterbacher off road clutch and 990 carb. Look forward to seeing if runs as it's a used one. Must be an older one as no cnc bling but compression feels good. Just waiting on an exhaust and an fix clutch housing and engine mount then I will start the fiddly work.

Just took one of these in px for a rock crawler i had. got the k&n edition. what company makes the 23cc? thinking of dropping a zen 31.5 4 bolt but with a long relation ship with 1/5ths i wonder what the best upgrades are as it would probably rip it limb from limb. Any ideas?

i have had the race and the marder. the chassis are not different as far i can remember. i also started with the plastic servo tray, removed that and fitted a race alloy chassis no problem, maybe sounds daFT BUT IT IS AN FG MARDER PLASTIC TRAY AND NOT a cheap petrol clones one?

the trouble is that at speed water always finds its way in somehow. then there is the point of trying to keep it out of filters? i have run in damp conditions but pays your money , takes your chance.

engine sounds like its gettin too much then not enough fuel

the beetle sheel fits over the marder shell. you can buy ,ounting pins as used on the fg beetle that uses the stadium chassis plates. or you can use the tub designed for the beetle shell which is absolutely useless.

sounds to me like air is getting into the fule lines. are they seal well at the tank?

i had heard they all use similar factories for the alloy parts. the patterns are cloned then mass produced parts get a name from who ever buys the order. integy gpm etc..
