Hi the baja is deffinatley worth the money but the biggest question is do you have some good open spaces to run it?They make alot more noise than a nitro so its real easy to upset people very fast.I have put an rd logics pipe on mine which isnt to offensive but i had to sell my rear and side mount dom's because ot the noise.saying that i have just fitted a 28.5 headkit onto mine but havent started it yet.I wander how loud it will be now

Hi i was searching for stuff about my mta4 and found this thread.My mta4's instructions are the same but i have 3 different factory settigs!?And as for the break in instructions it says to give it full throttle in the first tank.Surely that cant be rite?I have had alot of nitro's and they have all said to not use full throttle for the first few tanks.

I totaly agree with Mr T.With the xrc buggyyou cant fit a different exhaust and thats what realy improve the speed of petrol cars.

If somebody who is after a buggy doesnt snap this up for £70 they must be mad!Had my one out today with a hpi 4.6ho motor in it and it keeps up with my mates hyper 8 with an lrp28 in it .If you have a spare yellow and black body going spare i will have that off of you.

I havent had a chance to test it properly yet.Got the chance to take it out yesterday for the first time since fitting it.Loaded it up in the car,took it to some football pitches,warmed it up and was just about to dstart tuneing and the bloody battery died .The bottom end seemed a bit sluggish but that was at factory settings and like i say just as i went to tune it up that was it.On HBF it was makeing better power than the hpi tuned pipe on a dyno.Its not going to make as much power as a Dom but it doesnt make no where near as much noise.liveing in London there was no way i could run the baja with the Dom on but with the RD Logics pipe i should be ok

I dont have a camera so cant do pics.It looks like the hpi pipe but doesnt stick out at the back.I got mine from python on their ebay shop.If you go onto ebay you should be able to find one.If not then go to www.hpibajaforum.com and there is a link to python on the left hand side.

The rear Dom is loud aswell and i had to sell my side mount Dom because it wasnt as silenced as i thought it would be and i cant get used to the side mount look apart from the GBE side bleed pipe which is ment to be prity quiet.I have just got an RD Logics pipe for my baja and it is the quietest pipe i have had on my baja .I have had the x-can,rear dom and side mount but the RD Logics pipe lets me run it in london.£55 delivered from Python

So if you are running a 22t in yours a 16 or 17 should be fine.I was worried about blowing up the motor.How is your accelaration with the 22 and are you running stock diffs?

I totaly agree with you.RC is ment to be fun but this is starting to turn into some of those us forums which are just about bitching at eachother.

I have had my last 3 orders from a big very well known modelshop not turn up yet they thier website said that stock was in stock!I had to phone 3 times and listen to the bull****² and then email and then they got my stuff sent to me from a different shop!I am not going to name the shop as there is no point but it wasnt Wheelspin or DMS(i have never ever had a problem with either of these shops that seem to be getting flamed on here).So no one on here has never had a problem with Modelsport?Come on now be honest as i have and so have quite a few of my mates

I ran it with the savage 15 tooth clutch bell and it was going great.About the same top speed as my mates Hyper 8.Temps were only just about hitting 200f so i could of leaned it out more and got more out of it but it was running fine so left it as it was.Now i am ot sure weather to leave it at 15 tooth or go for a 16 or 17?

I dont know what you guys must have done but nothing that hasnt been in stock at wheelspin when i have ordered hasnt been charged till my order is in stock and sent.If people arnt happy they should phone the shops and ask for thier money back rather than bitch on forums.

I always use wheelspin when i can and have never had a problem.I have placed orders at half 3 and have got the stuff the next day.On the phone they are much more helpfull than modelsport.I had a big order with modelsport so i phoned to see if it was ok and the guy didnt listen to a word i said and had hung up while i was still talking!I dont know who he was but sounded old compared to the usualy younger sounded staff i had talked to before.

I fitted the 18 but the mesh was prity tight and i dont realy want to mod the chassi so i have fitted a 15 i already have.I am off out later to try it and if it goes well i might go for either a 16 or 17.Probably a 17 as that should mesh up ok .
