  1. yup that one was painted by me, I still think it looks absolutely mega with those trenchers and that bodyshell 😍
  2. Built my tt02r today, quick maiden run on the driveway just to check it’s all good ready for Bedworth rc club this weekend. Entering the rookies class, first time at an on road rc club.
  3. Popped into TTP models in Coleshill today, picked up a few bits and a new chassis to build. Up there with the best customer service I have ever received. Very friendly and even offered to knock some money off due to purchasing instore. Anyone looking for Tamiya parts and kits check TTP models out.

I love the way they claim to be the worlds largest supplier of Tamiya stuff, I never heard of them🤪🤣🤔

Lmao, ive been buying from Tony’s for years, i always thought it was online only….

  4. Found this brand new Tamiya tt01 xb lurking on marketplace within walking distance, it followed me home nonetheless😂😂
  5. Decided to keep the vqs so installed the tz super stock motor and took it for its maiden run this morning, along side the tt02b also on its maiden run😂. The vqs seems ballistic in a straight line compared to the tt02b.
  6. Some upgrades installed on the tt02b and painted the body shell, just went with paints I had lying around, not the best job but this one’s a basher.
  7. First round of bits turned up from plaza Japan for the tt02b and the blitzer beetle. the Tamiya motors look very nice😍
  8. That’s one tt02b chassis built and running, super easy build, plaza Japan just need to hurry up with some of my upgrades now😂
  9. Started building the Neo scorcher, was going to wait until all the upgrades turn up. But thought I’d get it together with just bearings for now.
  10. Selling this vqs it’s brand new, has been built and never ran. Built properly using the correct Jis screwdrivers and the extra bearings required to make it completely bearings throughout. These come with the tble02s esc which can run brushed/brushless, and Iv installed a torque tuned motor in place of the stock silver can these kits come with. Collection from Leicester preferred. price is £180 to any msuk member, it’s listed elsewhere for a little more.
  11. Put an order in with a Japanese shop called plaza Japan a week ago, still no dispatch email. Anyone have experience with them on here?

That's unusual for Japan, I haven't ordered any RC stuff from Japan - Christ knows I'm having enough issues with ordering RC stuff that is supposedly in stock from UK based RC stores.  But I order a tonne of stuff from Japan on a regular basis.  Take the guitar picks I use for example, made in Japan, and only available in Japan - nobody outside of Japan imports or stocks them, a pack of 12 costs me £5.98 delivered to the UK - that's very competitive and comparable pricing to any 12 pack of picks sold in the UK that you buy in a music store never mind delivered to your door, and if I order them on a Monday morning, I get them by Wednesday, no later than Thursday which has only happened twice since relocating back to the U.K.

I've ordered from them before, the dispatch takes longer than the shipping most times. Good company to deal with.

Plaza is a mystery but you get it in the end for a bargain price!

  12. A Tamiya vqs and a Neo scorcher turned up today…I know what I’m doing this weekend
  13. just had a quick look, some nice rc’s there but nothing that’s really my cup of tea bud.
  14. Been thrashing the blitzer beetle around a nice gravel car park this evening, can’t beat that nostalgia of running a Tamiya kit
  15. just added the only pic that was small enough to upload, could be interested in a trade if you have something that takes my fancy
  16. Selling the mini-z buggy as it just sits on the shelf, and id rather use the funds towards a new radio. It’s the rarest body they offered on the mb010 buggy chassis and these can be pretty difficult to come by. has only been used a handful of times and the condition really shows this, it’s boxed and comes with all original packaging, manuals and tools. price is £110 plus postage.
  17. Got a Tamiya blitzer beetle to build over the weekend and some bits for the brushless tracer….
  18. Some FLM centre shafts for the dbxl as the stock ones are useless….
