  1. Yeah, I was on the fence about one, but that made my mind up.
  2. I bought this for my 8 year old daughter. Got to say I'm impressed so far. Build quality looks as good as my Outbacks, electrics are better as they are proper items compared to the Outbacks ESC/RX combo. This is the nearest car I can compare it too, as this is 1/12, and the Outback is small for a 1/10, so almost same size. Shocks are bouncy out of the box, but the body quality is excellent. Can't wait to get it out on proper trails, and see how it works properly.
  3. I enjoyed the short time I had with my Mauler, but the ESC/RX combo died after just 14 minutes. The intention was to put proper electrics in it anyway, but this is forcing me to do so sooner than I wanted, but not worth a warranty claim.
  4. I'm picking an Outlaw up this week. And it's all your fault, because of the fun we had that day.

    Forum Update

Signing back in, to reply to this. Wasn't aware I had burnt bridges with Clumber crew, just not attended, as I now live further away, and busy with racing. Still in regular touch with several members. And I was only telling it as I see it, everyone is entitled to an opinion. I know you dislike Facebook, and respect your opinion, but unfortunately, this site has been souring to me for a while, to the point where I dislike it. Nothing personal against anyone, just don't like the way it is developing.

    Forum Update

TBH, I have been getting fed up of a lot of the idiots on here lately. Stuff like, someone asking about an electric basher for £100, you immediately get idiots trying to sell them a £300 nitro racer. Now this rank amateur job has finished me off. Mods, please delete my account.

    Forum Update

It worked fine before, and looked good. Now it's slow, crashing, looks amateurish, and generally rubbish.
  8. Looks good, but cut the body posts down.
  9. I rate them very highly.
  10. I read it as he needs the part I linked.
  11. Here you go. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/thunder-tiger-aluminum-hex-adapter/rc-car-products/366692
  12. The KF2 is a great racer, but not so good for bashing. Why not look at another Tamiya?
  13. NDOR is now open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. 1000-2030 Tuesday and Thursday. 1000-1700, Saturday. 1030-1730 Sunday.
  14. Neil, his last words to me were "go big" so I did. I had no idea that buggy would take off like a scalded cat. Very good conversion that one.
  15. I am another that uses Putoline mx5.
  16. The Clumber crew, with borrowed cars, on the big jumps at NDOR, god help us all.
  17. Don't forget the important bit. We have a 1st class cafe on site. And a Q32 has gone around the track before.

  19. Mate, my topstox is an FG Marder underneath, and you know the abuse we give those. Do the engine mounts, make sure it has a layshaft brake, and it should be good for you.

  21. I've done this quite a few times. I mated a Tamiya TL01, to a Bruder tipper truck. I'm afraid it's a matter of, "if you need to ask how to do it, you don't have the experience necessary" You will only be left with the cab, and 5th wheel, almost the whole of the bottom of the cab, the whole of the chassis, and lots of other buts will be in the bin at the end. I get the feeling that you were thinking about adding electrics to the Bruder, but there is no way for that to work.
  22. Just replied to your PM, guess you sorted it.
