I think it's only people making parts that replace there own.

For example, wheel bars.

I doubt anyone could stop a company making a bodyshell if they have licencing from the full sized manufacturer.

But I'm sure there was recent proof of them stopping Proline from making shells to fit the Slash?

Well, it's an interesting point really.

I'm curious to know if that were the case and someone made a new body that just happened to fit the Slash as well as others, I wonder how that would pan out.

 

Their short course page still lists bodies as Slash-compatible
