The Trooper Posted September 30, 2010 Author Share Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) Added a few new bits (new to me anyway ) Uber RC Bumper and a wing with a TGN wing wrap Had some problems fitting the bumper as the Jet pro v3 didnt wanna line up when i had the rear bumper support things on so i have had to remove the one on the side with the bracket on the pipe. I'm hoping it will be ok, i can see why TBH but if you think it may not be can you let me know Also have added a new flywheel... one with all its fins but i cba getting a photo cos its too much efford removing the fan cover lol Lemme know what ya think! Damages today include... several E-clips, 3 wheel bearings and a spur gear. Really good day, took alot of stick, good few jumps and some dodgy landings (most of which followed by my front wheel buggering off ) Going to tap my front hubs and get a screw in there, ruined a good days bashing needing to fix it constantly and scrounge wheel bearings (Thanks all!) New engine is going well with the gearing i chose 17/57 as 18/56 seemed too high as the engine wasnt spinning up to a high enough RPM where my pipe tends to take over Comments and feedback MORE than welcome.. The Trooper Posted October 17, 2010 Author Share Posted October 17, 2010 As you can imagine as i remove bits i find more damage... Firstly what it looked like when i get it home..... As i went to remove the bumper i found the 2 HIGH TENSILE screws that held it on had SNAPPED Once i got the bumper(s) off i was faced by this, a very sorely looking front end. Then.. Then i noticed i had bent my TR front plate... gutted about this one like. The Operating Theatre Once i wrestled the actually front end off i saw the extent of the damage, pritty bad if u ask me More shots of my TR plate Cracked anodising.. a shame, but the least of my concerns. Then i removed the scorpion brace. Bent screws... The Chassis, note the kick up shouldnt be near that much. And i thought i had a pritty solid front end Comments welcome, thanks.
