Checking compression

The easy way is to take the glow plug out put your hand on top of the engine head and turn the engine over :good:

keep the plug in,and lift the car off the ground with the pull start,if the pull start supports the weight of the car with out pulling out,your compression is ok

if you ask me thats too much weight also, is your OWB is slipping your left thinking youve got low compression

Cheers guys, just wanted to know as im selling an engine and wanted to know the most deffinate way. Good thing i checked it with the way of holding the pull start and letting the car down. Holds it for around 2 seconds, is that good?
