Celectra 4 x 1s lipo charger. How long to charge?

Hi,

 

just charging 4 1s lipos but this is going on to 1 hour 35 mins, this normal?

no shouldnt take that long unless bats are really deeply discharged or knackered

usually 20-30 mins to charge em 

are you using a mains adapter or batteries to power charger ?

was using mains, I give up charging them as was thinking taking too long and batteries must be bad.

 

going to try and make this cable if my eyes are better. lol

mine charges in around 15-20 minutes, but I usually only have a couple of batteries on charge at once.

 

Try them one at a time, see how long. I am usually chargiong off mains too, not from a battery pack. If it's not a pack you know, then it's probably life expired.

out of 8 old batteries, 4 not charging at the moment but 2 looks fine. 👍

Well, looks like I have 4 old batteries working, my home made cable connector to battery tester reading these at 4.1 to 4.2 volts 👍👍👍

 

better than I expected tbh but will need to replace sooner than later.
 

not charged the 2 new ones I got from model shop yet.

Be carefull with the old batts tho

I had weird prob last summer with the 150 mah ncpx bats

they seemed to charge ok but the heli was dropping lifting banking erratically on some of old batts but not on all

i figured it out to be a voltage sag cutting in and out of lvc 

Hopefully yours will be ok but just incase you get it with your heli's

before I purchase more 1s batteries, can the above charge different c rating?
 

thinking of getting 2 more 150mAh 25c and 4 off 150mAh 45c.

Im pretty sure its a fixed charge rate

There shouldnt be any problem charging 25c and 45c batteries on it 

my own 1s batteries for my micro helis are mixed C ratings and they charge ok
