Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have just started mucking around drifting a TT-o1 and want to upgrade the motor and ESC combo, I have seen a few recommendations but a lot of the posts are from a few tears ago and the stuff mentioned has been discontinued. Whats a good option these days and im not that up on sensored combos.

Cheers

Oh you've got plenty,

ESC - https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobbywing-quicrun-10bl120-sensored-425021

Motor budget - https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobbywing-xerun-justock-g2.1-motor-13.5t-fixed-timing-431457

Motor higher end - https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/hobbywing-xerun-v10-13.5t-g3r-black-motor-441929

I've got no idea on what turn motor would be best for drifting so ignore the turn. The above is what I'd run for general running, no idea if you need anything special for drifting.

I’d recommend skyRC toro 120a and Onisiki shura motor 10.5t

the motors are really good and with a fan on will stay cool even with loads of timing

Cheers mate, I will have a look at those now!
