petrolhead81 Posted March 6, 2021 Share Posted March 6, 2021 Hi guys,  Advice please after an electrical malfunction caused a full throttle incident which blew my con rod and piston on my Novarossi 😪 .  The rest of the engine all seems ok, inc the sleeve, so wanted advice on what you think I should do. Seems like I can get this bundle for about £120 ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153731744429 ) but not sure if it’s worth it?  Thoughts? Jumper Posted March 6, 2021 Share Posted March 6, 2021 Some bits of metal could have got into the bearings as well. Its pretty expensive to rebuild, by the time you bought the piston sleeve, rod and button and bearing you might as well just buy a whole new engine :( I would say unless you really really like that engine get a new one and keep that one for spares. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
