Little bump for the weekend. Prices are just my initial thoughts so feel free to offer.

Hi all, Life has got busy and I don't have the time to enjoy all the cars in my collection - hence looking to sell some. Also have some other random bits which have sat in a cupboard for a few years now. Really open to feedback, questions, offers and people coming to look. Hobao Hyper VS Nitro - Semi Roller - £150 This car has only been used a handful of times before a battery disconnect caused the engine (NovaRossi below) to over rev and break the piston 😞 ! As you can see, it's in great condition with the only notable damage being a cracked rear wing, but is perfectly usable. I have included a few spare wings, along with servos, air filter and the original box and manual. Hobao Hyper 7 - Almost RTR- £150 This was my original RC car which has been a lot of fun over the years. It has a large amount of upgrades (e.g. CNC hubs, lot's of aluminium ) and hence is fairly bullet proof 🙂 . Comes with everything for RTR with the exception of - TX/RX, Starter box (engine pull start removed), Fuel and Glow starter. Also have a load of spare parts including a shell, chassis and loads of other bits. Thunder Tiger ST-1 Brushless Conversion - Roller - £150 Something a little different which was my first brushless setup. It's originally a TT ST-1 with a large number of upgrades and then a brushless conversation composing of a motor mount, battery tray and speed controller holder. Comes with 2 shells which have both seen a fair amount of action lol. Spektrum DX3 - TX & RX - £50 If you fancy some old skool action than this is for you! Fully working and ready to go. NovaRossi Bonito 21-7XLB - Broken Piston/Rod - £50 As mentioned above, this engine was in the VS but the battery disconnected with the throttle open and it broke the Piston/Rod. The sleeve and all other internals seem fine so I have tried to get it replaced but I'm looking at around £120 and it doesn't feel a sensible spend. Selling for spares or repair hence very open to offers. Hobao .21 Turbo Pull Start + bits - £25 Found at the back of a cupboard and very open to offers.

Hey all, I have had a Switchblade Kill Switch (purchased from RCmodelz) in my 30DNT for some months and it’s been flawless. Was out earlier and the engine cut and upon investigation the kill switch LED is just static ON. This status isn’t in the instructions so any help would be great. I have checked all connections and they seem good. I also search the forum and found a topic with the same issue described which turned out to be a faulty unit.

Hi guys, Advice please after an electrical malfunction caused a full throttle incident which blew my con rod and piston on my Novarossi 😪 . The rest of the engine all seems ok, inc the sleeve, so wanted advice on what you think I should do. Seems like I can get this bundle for about £120 ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153731744429 ) but not sure if it’s worth it? Thoughts? Fix or just replace with a whole new engine? James

All ordered now so thanks again for all the guidance! One thing I have read is a good upgrade is replacing the stock steering bell crank assembly with one from a Losi 5T 2.0 - any thoughts?

Good shout! Was also thinking shock and diff oils so any recommendations would be great. What about chassis / transmission upgrades to proactively reduce common failure?

Hi guys, I’m about to treat myself to my first 1/5 scale with the purchase of a 30DNT Stadium Truck. I plan to rebuild out of the box and wanted thoughts on the essential upgrades to include. Assume around £150 budget for upgrades 😁 . Thanks, James
